NPM The Effect of Combining Photo Analysis and Community Circle Strategy on Pupils' Speaking Achievement”. This study aimed to find out the effect of a combination of photo analysis and community circle strategy on students' speaking achievement. The method of this research was an experimental research method. In writing this study titled "The Effect of Combining Photo Analysis and Community Circle Strategy on Students' Speaking Achievement".

Dewi Kesuma Nasution, SS, M.Hum., the head of the English Department and Mandra Saragih, S.pd, M.Hum Secretary of the English Department who helped her in the administrative process to finish the study. The teacher made them think by asking the students to read the dialogue in front of the class. The researcher found the problems, many students had problems in speaking. The students are difficult and afraid to make a mistake to speak English because less vocabulary and less grammatical.

Students are less interested in speaking and feel bored when learning speaking, and as a result they have had poor results. For this reason, the researcher wants to solve it by combining the analysis of pictures and the strategy of the community in speech (CPACS). The researcher thinks that CPACS is a solution to make a good progress and can increase the students.

The researcher hopes that this research will be useful for the development of the teaching process of English learning, especially in the use of combined picture analysis and community circle strategy in speaking.

The Identification of Study

Without it, students should be shy and afraid of making mistakes, because the researcher will explain the rules of study (CPACS), and the researcher will help students with difficult vocabulary and grammar, so every student should be personally active and speak English well.

Nunan said that "Strategy is the mental and communicative procedures that learners use to learn and use language". Johnson K stated that student performance is concerned with how the students performed in relation to a particular course of the program. The students usually get to the graduate program, and are deliberately based on content it covers.

Photo analysis can help students create or test hypotheses about people, places, times, and events. According to Joseph (2002), a photo analysis strategy is a picture that tells a story of facts, feelings and intonations. Therefore, the title of the book in teaching strategies (2007) states that the photo analysis strategy is a strategy in which the teacher gives each group of students a photo to analyze what it shows.

Students read the title and then write a sentence for each of the 5Ws on the chart below, followed by a detailed sentence about the picture. Based on the above experts' idea, it can be concluded that the photo analysis strategy makes students understand the figure, people, object, environment and relationship in the photo. The picture analysis strategy has many advantages for students that can help students develop material.

According to Joseph (2002), photo analysis can make it easy for students to develop the ideas in the image. And also the students become easier to process what they use, when they try to analyze an image and thus the students can give their opinions. Structuring behavior involves establishing ground rules for the lesson by explaining the format and the students' and teacher's roles.

Then the students use the chart below to list people, objects and activities in photos. The students observe the list of three things you can infer from this picture. According to Fulcher said that Speaking is the verbal use of language to communicate with others.

It is important that we as language teachers are aware of how much we are talking in the classroom so that we do not take up all the time that students can speak. Essential life skills - all students will demonstrate the ability, attitude and ability to lead a responsible, fulfilling and respectful life.

Research Designed

The experimental class would provide the treatment using Study combination of analysis photo and community circle strategy. The teacher will invite students to come to the front of the class to describe places, people or animals.

The researcher will use a post-test to know the effect of combining photo analysis and community circle strategy.

The highest pre-test score in the experimental groups was 60 and the lowest was 57.

Based on the data in the table above, find the correlation between Pre- and Post-test using this formula. This meant that for every addition 1% of the combination of photo analysis, the students' community circle strategy increased by 10.84. The percentage of the effect combining photo analysis and community circle strategy on the students' speaking performance.

From the above finding, it was evident that the effect of the combination of photo analysis and community circle strategy on students' speaking achievement was 30.85. Based on the analysis of aspects of speaking, it was found that the percentage component of the vocabulary is 63.3% for the criterion very good, 36.7% for the criterion good. The percent accuracy component was 50% for very good criteria, 50% for good criteria.

The percentage component of fluency was 3.3% with the criteria very good, 50% with the criteria good, 46.7%.
