About PI FAIR

PI FAIR is the grandest annual international petroleum event held by Trisakti’s University Petroleum Engineering Student Body (BPHMJTP) integrated with the Society of Petroleum Engineers Trisakti University Student Chapter (SPE Trisakti University SC), and Ikatan Ahli Teknik Perminyakan Indonesia Seksi Mahasiswa Trisakti (IATMI SM-Trisakti) to achieve our goal, by holding Petroleum Incorporated Fair 2023 (PI FAIR 2023), held on October 2023 with the theme "Energy Odyssey:
An Exhilarating Journey into the Fascinating World of Oil and Gas Industry" by holding PI FAIR 2023 it could attract many young talented people and energized to compete within an international scale.
PI FAIR will be held in a series of events. This event is broadly
divided into Pre Events, Main Events, and Post Events. The
main events of PI FAIR are Grand Seminar, Competitions, and
Company Summit. This event can be an opportunity for
student associations to improve themselves, develop
innovations, and expand their connections with future
petroleum engineers to be technically advanced, socially
informed, and supplied with the ability to strive.

About Host Organizer
Badan Pengurus Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Perminyakan (BPHMJTP) is the Student Body Association of Petroleum Engineers Departments in the Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy, Trisakti University. BPHMJTP is the media for its members to develop the mindset and personality related to its discipline to be ready to plunge into the community.
A vision of BPHMJTP is as a platform for Petroleum Engineering students to be able to create innovations, critical to the nowadays issues, and increase the essence of regeneration so that they have the realization to set synergy, integrity, and contribute to Trisakti University as a Tridharma College.
Our missions are to establish a character of students majoring in Petroleum Engineering as a person who is intelligent, polite, responsible, and has a loyalty to the alma mater, which is expected to be beneficial for Petroleum Engineering majors. Besides, we do increase academic and non-academic with integrity and consistent steps and make Trisakti’s Petroleum Engineering student ready to compete with other universities on the national and international scale.
The energy crisis tremendously demands a big role from undergraduate students. As a student, we need to instill our mindset to be creative, innovative, and have high competitive spirit amongst others. Thus, this year, BPHMJTP is collaborating with the Society of Petroleum Engineers Trisakti University Student Chapter (SPE Trisakti SC), and Ikatan Ahli Teknik Perminyakan Indonesia Seksi Mahasiswa Trisakti (IATMI SM-Trisakti) to carry out our grandest annual event in order to achieve our goal, by holding Petroleum Incorporated Fair 2023 (PI FAIR 2023) which is a series of activities held on September - October 2023. From these activities, PI FAIR 2023 aims to enhance knowledge and abilities and also maintain a good relationship with any engineering majors to contribute and rebuild our oil and gas industry years ahead.

General Rules
The Competition of PI Fair 2023 is open to university students. All students are invited to join PI FAIR 2023 Competition.
All participants in the competition must be undergraduate students.
All participants in one team must be from the same university.
All participants must submit the complete payment and registration form before the deadline.
All participants must be active students until the end of this event.
Each participant can only join in one competition.
All communications, presentations, verbal communication, and documents must be in English.
The decision of the judges is final and absolute.
Competition Day Rules
All participants must wear formal attire on competition day.
Moderator will lead and guide the entire flow of the competition and be followed by a timekeeper who will remind the time limits.
All participants must attend the competition room at least 10 minutes before the event starts. Tardiness of more than 10 minutes from the scheduled time may result in a penalty unless the lateness is the fault of the competition officials.
The clock used by the competition officials is the official time, and it is absolute.
The presentation will start if both the committee and participants are ready.

Rule Change
Competition rules are subject to change at any time. Any change in rules, clarification, and agenda will be announced to all participants via email.
Rule changes of any competition will be informed a maximum of 7 days before the competition days.

PI FAIR 2023 Smart Competition aims to inspire and showcase innovative smart solutions that contribute to the pursuit of energy resilience. Energy resilience refers to the ability to adapt, withstand, and recover from disruptions in the energy sector, ensuring reliable and sustainable energy supply in the face of challenges such as climate change, natural disasters, and evolving energy demands. We invite participants to present their cutting-edge smart technologies, strategies, and initiatives that address energy resilience in creative and impactful ways. The competition seeks to foster the development and adoption of smart solutions that enhance energy resilience across various domains, including energy generation, distribution, storage, management, and consumption. Participants are encouraged to showcase their pioneering approaches that integrate digital technologies, data analytics, automation, and intelligent systems to transform the energy sector and promote resilience in the face of uncertainties and disruptions.

General Rules
Competitions of Pi Fair 2023 are open to the public. All participants are invited to join PI FAIR 2023 Competitions.
PI FAIR 2023 Smart Competition will be held offline through Trisakti University.
Participants of the PI FAIR 2023 Smart Competition must be undergraduate students and must be active students until the end of this event.
There will only be 20 teams selected to proceed to the competition.
Each team consists of 3 people.
All participants of one team are allowed from different majors but must be from the same university.
All participants must be active students until the end of this event.

General Rules
All communications, presentations, verbal communication, and documents must be in English.
Each university is allowed to send delegates a maximum of 3 Teams from different authors and titles.
Smart Competition consists of four phases, which are pre- elemination, elimination round, semifinal round, and final round.
Each participant that qualified in pre-elimination round will proceed to the next round.
The University or Institution's name and logo are not allowed
in all submissions.

The answer stated after the timekeeper has said "Time"
would be treated as no answer. Ties between the player and the timekeeper are decided in favor of the player.
The decisions about whether players have exceeded the allotted.
Time to answer may be rendered only by the tournament officials and are not contestable.
Each correct answer to a regular question is worth 10 points.
An incorrect answer to a regular question will be minus 5 points. An unanswered question is worth 0 points.
If there is a tie between teams, each will be given a bonus question.
Each bonus question is worth 10 points. There will be no penalty for wrong answers or unanswered questions for bonus questions.

Tournament Officials
Judges
There will be 3 judges. All the judges' decisions are based on the regulations above, and the awarding point will be final.
Moderator
The moderator will guide the entire competition and enforce the rules and regulations.
Timekeeper
The timekeeper will enforce and supervise the time limits.
Liaison Officer
Responsible for giving information from the committee to participants.
Equipment
Participants can bring a pen, blank paper, and a calculator to the meeting.
During the question-and-answer session, participants cannot use any reference materials. No tolerance for all forms of cheating.
All participants must use the name tag that has been given by the
committee of Smart Competition.

Registration
Each team that has passed the elimination screening phase must pay the remaining registration fees in Full Amount, that is IDR 550.000/person for domestic students and USD 34 per person for international students and must be paid in Full Amount (maximum October 6 , 2023).
