1. What are the strategies to find the meaning of an unknown word by using context clue?

Answer :

1. Definition/Explanation Clue: Look for definitions or explanations separated by commas, dashes, or parentheses.

2. Example Clue: Look for examples given nearby in the text.

3. Synonym/Antonym Clue: Look for synonyms or antonyms that clarify the meaning.

4. Inference/General Context Clue: Infer the meaning by considering the overall context.

5. Cause and Effect Clue: Look for words or phrases that indicate cause-and-effect relationships.

6. Mood or Tone Clue: The tone of the passage can offer insights into the meaning of a word.
