Words of Farewell

Mary Ann Undgren (Washington Office) is leaving on Friday, May 5 after more than five years of service to STRl She married Tun Stewart on Thursday, May '17, and will be moving to Pennsylvania. In 1989, Mary Ann helped to establish the Washington Office, and over the years, she has supported its ongoing growth and develop- ment She has been an important ambassador for STRI, and has developed strong relationships with colleagues throughout the Instltu,tion. We will miss her and fondly remember her warmth.. bright smile, and wonderful sense of humor. We with her all the best Anybody would like her new address, please oontact the Washington Office.

Awards are limited to $20.000, and the median grant is $5,000. We do not support conferences, travel to scientific meetings,. 1egal actions, erection of perma- nent field stations. tuition or salaries at instihltions, and overhead costs. Stipend are not considered. but investigators who have other source of support can
