Supplemental Figure 1: Molecular tests confirm the IHC results. The expression levels of ERα36 in five renal tumor tissues were studied by immunoblotting assays (A), qRT-PCR assays (B) and IHC staining (C). And the immunoblotting and qRT- PCR results were in consistent with IHC scores.
Supplemental Figure 2: ERα66 Expression in renal tumors (IHC staining). Negative staining of ERα66 was observed in the pericarcinous renal tissues: nephron (A) and renal tubules (B). Only a few tumor cells were found with ERα66 expression (C, orange arrows). Scale bar = 50 μm.
