This course introduces core accounting with economic concepts and principles needed by managers. Accounting topics cover the basics of financial statements, transaction analysis and the accounting cycle. Moreover, this subject discusses accounting definition and its function on the business decision making, basic concepts and principles of financial statement, and accounting cycle in service and merchandise company.

2. Learning Outcomes:

Understand how accounting relates to the business environment.

Understand how to use the accounting equation to analyze business transactions.

Understand how to evaluate the performance of a business.
