Help The Lonely Child
Sandy began a job as an elementary school counselor and she was eager to help. One day during recess she noticed a girl standing by herself on one side of a playing field while the rest of the kids enjoyed a game of soccer at the other.
Sandy approached and asked if she was all right.
The girl said she was.
A little while later, however, Sandy noticed the girl was in the same spot, still by herself.
Approaching again, Sandy offered, “Would you like me to be your friend?”
The girl hesitated, then said, “Okay,” looking at the woman suspiciously.
Feeling she was making progress, Sandy then asked, “Why are you standing here all alone?”
“Because,” the little girl said with great exasperation, “I’m the goalie!”

Rain
Rain is one of the main sources of fresh water for almost all people in the world. It provides suitable conditions for diverse ecosystems. It is also used as hydroelectric power plants and crop irrigation. But, do you know how rain happens?
The rain’s phenomenon is actually what we often call as “water circle.” The concept of the water cycle involves the sun heating the Earth’s surface water and causing the surface water to evaporate.
Then the water vapor rises into the Earth’s atmosphere. The water in the atmosphere cools and condenses into liquid droplets. The droplets grow bigger and heavier and fall to the earth as precipitation.
However, not all rain can reach the surface of the earth. Some evaporates while falling through dry air. This is what we call as
“virga”, a phenomenon which is often seen in hot, dry desert regions.

A Foolish Order
I was working in a photo store, which specializes in restoring old photographs.
One day, a lady brought an old picture of a man sitting behind a cow milk, milking it.
“Can you fix this picture for me?” she asked.
“Sure, what would you like us to do?”
“Can you move the cow?”
I stared at her astonishingly and replied, “Move the cow?”
“Right. I want to know what my great-grandfather looked like. That’s him.” she pointed to the feet sticking out under the cow.
“I don’t think we can do that.”
“Just move the cow over, and we’ll be able to see his face.” She insisted.
“I’m sorry. We don’t have the technology to do that.”
“Well, I think I’ll just take this somewhere else.”

How to Make Pancake
Ingredients
1 egg
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons baking powder
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon real vanilla extract Steps
Use a large bowl and mix together the baking powder, flour, salt and sugar
Add egg, milk, butter and vanilla extract to the bowl and whisk well with the dry ingredients. until become nice smooth batter
Heat skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add batter at about 1/4 cup at a time.
Once bubbles appear in the pancake and the sides are golden brown, flip over with a large spatula for another minute or so until golden brown.
Your Pancake is ready to be served
