How do you study when the test is coming? Do you start preparing for the test weeks or months before the test or leave things to the last hour? If you start studying weeks or months before the test, it is great. However, if you study all the material in the last hour or minute, it is not good for you. This is called cramming.

Cramming is when students stay up all night until morning to study before a test or finish an assignment. This habit can lead to negative impacts, the first being that disruptions in the regular sleep cycle can cause temporary intellectual lapses. For most students, less sleep can make them could not focus on the class. Additionally, cramming can leave us with memory lapses as well.

Each person has a different sleeping schedule, so some of them often use a stimulant for cramming. An example stimulant, and the most common, is coffee. While delicious and beneficial, it causes many problems in the long-term such as Caffeine Intoxication Syndrome, anxiety, panic, and headaches.

To sum up, cramming is not recommended because it disturbs a person’s sleep cycle which causes temporary intellectual lapses, and using stimulants for cramming gives them a bad effect on their health.

How Does Education Important to Children

Thesis: Education means studying in order to obtain a deeper knowledge and understanding of a variety of subjects to be applied to daily life. These are the proofs that education is not limited to just knowledge from books, but can also be obtained through practical experiences outside of the classroom.

Argumentations: There are many different understandings and definitions of what education is, but one thing can be universally agreed upon, which is the importance of education, and here’s why.

First, education provides stability in life, and it’s something that no one can ever take away from you. By being well-educated and holding a college degree, you increase your chances for better career opportunities and open up new doors for yourself.

On top of stability, education also provides financial security, especially in today’s society. A good education tends to lead to a higher paying job, as well as provide you with the skills needed to get there.

In order for the entire world to really become equal, it needs to start with education. If everyone was provided with the same opportunities to education, then there would be less gaps between social classes.

Everyone would be able to have an equal chance at higher paying jobs — not just those that are already well-off.

If you can dream it, you can achieve it. An education is the most powerful weapon you can possibly have, and with it, you can make all of your dreams come true. There are of course certain exceptions, depending on what you’re aiming for, but generally an education will take you as far as you’re willing to go.

Reiteration: During the childhood development stages, the importance of education is stronger than ever. Education is crucial for their growth and success in the future. Education at childhood also offers a chance for self- discovery and to learn about their unique interests.

The Importance of Free Play in Early Childhood and Primary School Education

Play is the most important activity for a child. Through play he develops social, emotional and cognitive skills. The value of play is recognised by researchers because of the intellectual achievement and emotional well-being. From all types of play, unfortunately, free play is the least used in the daily program in kindergartens and primary schools in most of the European

countries. When the child is free to play, he develops all his personality traits during it.

Play is at the heart of the child's development. This is the main means by which to develop intrinsic motivation, ability to make decisions, solve problems, follow their own rules, control their emotions, make friends and interact with them, and also experience joy.

One of the great psychologists, supporters of play, Frobel, claims that play is the form of an outward manifestation of the inner feelings of children. Free play is not only the most valuable gift we can give to children, but it is also an essential gift if we want them to develop physically, mentally and emotionally as future competent adults.

From the point of view of socio-emotional development, free play:

· Reduces anxiety;

· Creates good-mood;

· Determines emotional flexibility;

· Develops calmness, resilience, adaptability and ability to cope with unexpected changes

and events;

· Promote collaboration and cooperation;

· Cultivate perseverance and concentration;

· Determines self-discipline;

· Allows the child to make mistakes; learning from mistakes, through play, will not feel the

pressure of loss.

· Promotes compassion;

· Develops the ability to make choices;
