THE INFLUENCE OF WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND MOTIVATION TOWARDS EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE: A CASE STUDY OF HOTEL

XYZ IN BALI

The objective of this research is to find out the influence of working environment and motivation on employee performance at Hotel XYZ. This research is conducted in Hotels in Bali, Indonesia. This research method is based on quantitative research with 86 respondents from Hotel XYZ. This study applies questionnaire to collect the data and uses SPSS software to analyze the data. The data utilizing Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) to identify the reliability and validity and the overall model summary and estimate the correlation between each variable in the designated research model.

The results prove that both working environment and motivation have influence on employee performance. Working environment also has an influence on motivation as well. The managerial implication for Hotel XYZ is to acknowledge these elements in order to improve the working environment and increase employee performance.
