And the earth was formless and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. In these three verses the three eternal beings are present and each plays a role in the creation of the world. Once again, the three beings of the Godhead are present in man's creation: God the Father, the Word of God, and the Spirit of God.

To whom God gave dominion (dominion) over the fish, fowl, and beasts of the earth. In the middle of the garden were two separate trees, the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God told the man that he could eat from any tree in the garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

The woman ate the fruit of the tree and gave to her husband who also ate. When God asked if he had eaten of the forbidden fruit, who blamed the man. Because Adam and Eve disobeyed God and sinned, God sent them out of the Garden of Eden to keep them from the tree of life.

3:15 is about the one who trampled the serpent on the head, but in doing so the serpent bruised his heel.

The Lord said that He would never again curse the ground for man's sake, nor destroy every living thing. In addition to the green herbs that God had allowed Adam and Eve to eat (Gen. 1:29), He now allowed Noah and his family to eat animals, with one exception.

THE PROMISED HEIR

When the Lord told Abram that he had brought him from Ur of the Chaldees to give him this land as a possession, what did Abram ask of the Lord. The Lord told Abram to take a heifer (young cow), a goat and a ram (each three years old), a turtledove and a dove as an offering. Abram distributed the animals, but not the birds, and when the sun was setting, he fell into a deep sleep with the terror of great darkness (Genesis 15:9-12).

When the sun went down and it became dark, what passed between the pieces of Abram's offering, showing that God accepted Abram and his offering. On the same day God made a covenant with Abram and told him that the boundaries of the promised land extended from.

THE THREE ANGELS

Two of Abraham's visitors went to Sodom, while the third, called the Lord, remained with Abraham. Abraham then negotiated with the Lord to save the city of Sodom because his nephew Lot lived there. When Abraham was ninety-nine years old, God again assured him that he would be the father of many nations and that his seed would possess the land of Canaan.

To Sarah, God promised a son who would be called Isaac, and the covenant would be established with Isaac and his descendants. As a sign of the covenant between God and Abraham, God required that Abraham and all the male members of his household be circumcised. All the future male descendants of Abraham were to be circumcised when they were eight days old (Gen. 17:1-22).

Look now to the heavens ... the stars ... to count them ... So shall your seed be (Gen. 15:5). All the land that you see I will give to you and to your offspring (Gen. 13:15) To your offspring I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the...river. I will give you and your descendants after you ... all the land of Canaan (Gen. 17:8).

ABRAHAM'S FAITH

After Abraham sacrificed Isaac, the Lord repeated His promises to Abraham, swearing by Himself and saying, “… because you have done this, and have not withheld your son, your only son” (Gen. 22:16) . I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you (Gen. 17:6). I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand.
