This study is expected to add some knowledge, a new source related to The Use of Grammarly as a Grammar Online Checker for Students' Thesis Writing. This research is expected to provide the teacher with information to know the benefits of Grammarly as a medium, to ensure that everything already written not only maintains accurate spelling, punctuation and grammar, but is also clear, persuasive and easy to read. This research is expected to provide students with information that Grammarly helps students find and correct low-level errors in their written work and avoid unintentional plagiarism.

Organization of the Study

Requiring students to check their work in Grammarly before submitting it allows instructors to focus more on higher-level issues such as critical thinking, creativity, and demonstrating learning.

This means that of all the influences on our perception, context is one of the most powerful. From some of the explanations above, we can see that we sometimes make mistakes in perceiving the physical environment. From some of the perceptual characteristics above, we can see that the human senses are very influential in the process of forming a perception.

News that develops is a form of stimulation that attracts the attention of the audience. This theory describes a simple communication process involving only two components of the mass media. The sender of the message, namely the broadcast media that emits the stimulus, and the mass media audience as the receiver that responds by showing a response, so it is called the stimulus-response theory. f.

If the sentences are spoken with incorrect grammar, the meaning of the sentences will not be understood by the listeners. Grammar is one of the most important elements of English, because it not only determines the quality of a sentence, but also its meaning. Another study also found that most students made many grammatical errors, especially in verb usage.33.

For research purposes, more passive sentences are used to change the focus of the sentence. Grammarly premium is the paid version of the grammar checker and comes with some additional features that are not available in the free version. It is a scientific article based on the results of the field research and the literature, written by bachelor students as a formal study-graduation project.43 When writing the research, students must consult the writing with the advisors.

Review of Previous Studies

Students believed that using a word processor and Grammarly, an online grader, helped them in the writing process. Unlike the previous study, which focused on students' perceptions of Grammarly as a tool for writing grammar checks, the current study only examines how students perceive Grammarly as a tool for writing grammar checks, and the extent to which using Grammarly as an online grammar checker can help students in writing their thesis. The previous research used Bourke & Holbrook's theory to examine students' writing errors in thesis writing, while the difference with the present study is the use of Grammarly as an online grammar checker to check students' mistakes in thesis writing.

This study looked at how students experienced using Grammarly and how teachers responded to their writing. The findings of the analysis showed that students had positive attitudes towards using Grammarly and receiving feedback from teachers. The previous study examined the use of Grammarly and teacher feedback in writing, while the difference from the current study is the use of Grammarly as a grammar checker in writing papers.

The language style is one of Grammarly that consists of choosing words based on the text. Grammar is one of the grammatical features that consists in the use of subject, verb, preposition, etc. Based on the result of the questionnaire, Using Grammarly as an online grammar checker for student theses Writing to students' perception showed that the final score was 84 .3 categorized Strongly Agree.

Data on the strength and weakness of Grammarly as media to check grammar in their writing grammar in their writing. The interview consisted of 4 questions which explore students' opinion about using Grammarly to help them check their thesis writing also to answer the second research problem of the research which is to find out the strength and weakness of Grammarly App . In this study, the researcher identified some similarities between the use of Grammarly in thesis writing in the sample of 4 students to be interviewed, explaining all the interview data in relation to the following questions.

This statement related to Grammarly, one of the programs created in the twenty-first century, was considered a simple tool that can help students and academic institutions with their writing by checking for spelling, grammar - and punctuation issues. Grammarly very useful for their writing, it helps to save their time in writing because it does not need to be checked repeatedly, also avoid mistake in writing.65. While the weaknesses are simple present tense or simple past tense, usage in the identical areas of the author's work cannot be determined by the program.

According to the answers to the above questions, the researcher concluded that using Grammarly to help students correct their thesis writing resulted in positive perceptions of the program's features and its ability to provide clear feedback.
