Air Susu Ibu (ASI) merupakan nutrisi yang terbaik bagi bayi. Dukungan keluarga serta orang-orang terdekat apalagi ayah sangat dibutuhkan untuk ibu yang bekerja guna mencapai keberhasilan program ASI eksklusif, sehingga dalam hal ini terdapat istilah breastfeeding father atau ayah menyusui. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan suami tentang ASI eksklusif dengan penerapan breastfeeding father pada ibu yang bekerja. Penelitian ini adalah sebuah studi analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel berjumlah 55 responden Ayah dengan bayi berusia 0-24 bulan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan suami tentang ASI eksklusif dengan penerapan breastfeeding father pada ibu pekerja di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Juwana dengan nilai signifikasi (p value) <0,001 menunjukkan hasil semakin baik tingkat pengetahuan maka penerapan breastfeeding father semakin baik.

Breast milk (ASI) is the best nutrition for babies. Family support and the nearest ones especially fathers, are needed for mothers who work to achieve exclusive breast milk success, so in this case there is the term breastfeeding father. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between husband‟s knowledge degree about exclusive breast milk with the application of breastfeeding father in working mothers.
This research is a correlational analytic study with a cross sectional approach. Sample of this study is 55 father response with babies aged 0-24 months. The data was taken form a questionnaire and analyze with univariate and bivariate using chi square test.
The results of this study is there any relationship between husband‟s knowledge degree about exclusive breast milk and the application of breastfeeding father in working mothers in the Juwana Community Health Center with significant p value
<0,001 shows results the better the level of knowledge degree, so the implementation of breastfeeding father will be better.
