Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII SMA Islam Terpadu Insan Mulia Batanghari Lampung Timur. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMA Islam Terpadu (IT) Insan Mulia Batanghari Lampung Timur mengalami kesulitan dalam berbicara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor problematika kesulitan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa kelas VIII SMA Islam Terpadu Insan Mulia Batanghari Lmpung Timur.
Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII SMA Islam Terpadu Insan Mulia Batanghari Lmpung Timur.Informan penelitian ini adalah sepuluh (10) siswa. Data dikumpulkan dari observasi dan wawancara di SMA Islam Terpadu Insan Mulia Batanghari Lmpung Timur tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

In addition to the statement that the researcher accepts that one of the important aspects of speaking is communication and interaction between listener and speaker, so this will make the good understanding about the object that is spoken. And then it is the process of building and sharing meaning there using verbal and non-verbal symbols, a variety of contexts. Every time you speak, not just when you are speaking or being interviewed, you are both conveying information relevant to the topic being discussed and introducing yourself.17 Cameron says that speaking is the active use of language to convey meaning. to express so that other people can make sense of the meaning.18 These are labels.

- General Description of SMP Insan Mulia Batanghari
SMP IT Insan Mulia Batanghari is a private school that was established in 2005 and is located at 41C Majapahit Batangharjo Street, Batanghari. SMP IT Insan Mulia Batanghari has three classrooms, one principal and administration room, one teacher's room, one mosque, one school room, one library room, two boys' rooms and two girls' rooms, one kitchen, one room and thirteen toilet rooms. The objectives of SMP IT Insan Mulia Batanghari East Lampung are quality results, professionalism, have a certain quality and religious.
General Description of Research Data
Students who share some mother tongue tend to use it because it is easier and because the students became less vulnerable if they speak their mother tongue. The data above shows that the student does not say anything, he is confused to answer in used English language, afraid of making mistakes when the answer. Data above showing that the student nothing to say anything, the student just knows in Indonesian language no expression in English language because occurred in a sentence and word form.
Having nothing to say becomes one of the obstacles for a student to speak English because the student cannot express an idea in the English language, so to overcome the problem of having nothing to say, it is necessary to add vocabulary, grammatical pronunciation and the like. Low participation becomes one of the obstacles for the student to speak English because any two factors are internal and external, because the student feels incapable of English, and among other students in the class, there is an internal factor and the teacher cares less about the poor student, so that the student is just quiet and afraid when speaking English, so in order to overcome the problem of low participation, the student must increase the motivation for the English language, and the teacher can take care of all the students in the class. The data above shows that the student did not use the English language well, but she still used her mother tongue because it appeared within the sentence and in word form.
Data above included that conversational use combines language, Indonesian and English because it occurred in a sentence and a word form. Basic language is Bahasa Indonesia put on the first sentence is sentence, second language is English and any structure appropriate grammatical. The primary language is Bahasa Indonesia, the second language is English and the third language is Arabic.
Speaker greets with Arabic as it is common in SMP IT Insan Mulia, then student also replies in Indonesian language. Mother tongue becomes one of the obstacles for the student to speak English, because the student make the habit of mother tongue in daily activities, they are comfortable to use the mother tongue such as Indonesian or Javanese. The student can learn English, for example an English day program, and the teacher can support this program.
Interpretation
According to the data analysis, the student has difficulty speaking, based on the indicator 7% student inhibition, 13% low motivation, 27% nothing to say, and then 53% mother tongue. Based on observation on January 24, 2017 within 27 students, researcher analyzed of the factors that counted difficulties in eight grade at SMP Islam Terpadu Insan Mulia Batanghari. The first is for students, it is suggested to be more confident about speech performance in front of the class or the other place.
The conclusion of the research shows that the students had difficulties in the ability to speak.
