Using bookworm game on teaching vocabulary of the degree students of SMP IT Wahdah Islamiyah (An experimental research). The purpose of this study is to obtain information about (1) the use of bookworm game improves the students' vocabulary in terms of adjective for the first grade student of SMP IT Wahdah Islamiyah. 2) the use bookworm game improves the students' vocabulary in term of verb for the first grade student of SMP IT Wahdah Islamiyah. The research findings indicated that the improvement of the first grade students of SMP IT Wahdah Islamiyah improved after the application of Bookworm game strategy.

From the above research findings, the researcher concludes that in teaching and learning vocabulary, teachers should attract the attention of students and actively involve them in learning by creating a good atmosphere in various techniques in teaching English, especially in teaching of vocabulary. Any technique can be applied whenever and wherever, as long as it is appropriate to the student's needs and abilities. It is therefore important that students know the usual context in which the words occur.
The bookworm game is a good technique used to improve students' vocabulary by matching the letter on the screen. If students have more vocabulary, it will make them easily express their ideas, feelings, emotions, etc. H0 : It does not matter students' vocabulary not to use book worm game of first year level of SMP IT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar.
H1 : The use of bookworm game is effective in improving the students' vocabulary of the freshman level of SMP IT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar.
RESEARCH METHOD
Research design
Each test consists of 5 question items to test the student's vocabulary before and after the test. Determining the significant difference between students' mean score by calculating the t-test value. The table above shows that before using the bookworm strategy, students' vocabulary progress in reading skills, especially adjectives, is poor (6.47).
While after applying the worm game strategy in the dictionary in reading ability, the improvement of the students is greater than before (11,83). The table above shows that the average score of the students in the pre-test is 6.47, while the students‟. So, it is analyzed that there is improvement of students after applying bookworm game strategy.
Improving students' vocabulary in terms of verbs in reading skills through the application of Bookworm Game Strategy. The table above shows that the students' progress before applying Bookworm Game Strategy in vocabulary and reading skills is poor (5.85), after applying Bookworm Game Strategy. From the table above, it can be seen that the average score of the students on the pre-test is 5.85, while the average score of the students on the post-test is 9.24.
It is therefore analyzed that there is an improvement among the students after applying Bookworm Game Strategy, namely 3.39 (57%). It comes from a comparison between the students' pre- and post-test. Based on the above table, the researcher finds that there is an improvement in the students' vocabulary performance in reading skills after the application of Bookworm Game Strategy. The research results indicate that the improvement of students' vocabulary through Bookworm Game Strategy shows the improvement of students' vocabulary in terms of adjective and verb.
The result of the students' vocabulary in pre-test is low before the application of Bookworm game strategy especially in the definition of sentence and matching sentences. In table 3, the score of the students' improvement in terms of verbs include matching sentence which is the average score of pre-test 6.87, after application of Bookworm game strategy the average score of post-test 7.94. Based on the result of the reading process, the students' vocabulary performance in reading skills was improved.
Students' vocabulary in reading performance in terms of adjective by using Bogorm Game Strategy is improved. Based on the above problem, the research teacher gave the treatment by applying the Bookworm Game Strategy so that the students could show the improvement in the post-test. The description of data collection through written test as explained in the previous section on findings shows that the performance of the students after the application of the Bogorm Game Strategy. Based on the results of the results, the researcher concludes that the application of Bookworm Game Strategy in vocabulary in reading skills in the first grade of SMP IT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar is effective in improving students' performance.
This was demonstrated by the students' significant gains before and after using the Bookworm game strategy in reading vocabulary, especially in relation to adjective and verb.

The researcher asks the students to write on paper the word they make while playing the game. After the time is up, the researcher asks the students to submit their paper - The researcher and the students discuss the words. The post-test aims to find out if the students understand the meaning of the vocabulary (words) they learn during the treatment.
Techniques of Data Analysis
Table shoe that the student improvement t-test result is greater than the t-table or 4.007>0.856. Using the Bookworm Game Strategy can affect or improve student achievement because the Bookworm Game Strategy is really concerned with students' vocabulary status in the reading process. Teaching vocabulary using the bookworm game can improve students' cognitive and emotional skills in the classroom and can demonstrate their prior knowledge.

In the pre-test, the researcher only gave practice to know their performance before applying to Bookworm Game Strategy. At the beginning, the students find it difficult to understand the types of adjective and verb and to do exercises. their vocabulary is still weak, the researcher gave the treatment by intensively applying Bookworm game strategy and guidance to the students. as a result, the students become active and familiar with the condition in reading skill. Applying Bookworm game strategy in vocabulary reading skill, the researcher found that the average score of post-test of students' performance is greater than pre-test. in table 1 shows the score of matching sentence which the mean score of pre-test is 7.5 after application of Bookworm game strategy theme score for post-test is 8.42. Therefore, the researcher indicates that threr is a significant improvement in students' performance after the application of Bookworm game strategy.
After applying the Bookworm Game Strategy, the researcher concludes that such a thing is very effective. This assumption is stated with evidence. During the process of applying the treatment, the researcher saw that the students are very interested in the material that the researcher presented. It is confirmed by the post-test result in adjective and verb terms.
Student performance can improve after treatment by applying Bookworm Game Strategy to vocabulary in reading skills. Teacher/lecturer should be creative in the classroom in teaching vocabulary with the help of bookworm because students can be more creative if the teacher gives the prefossionality in teaching and learning process. He knows a lot about the library and there is often a guide for new students. Today Andry is in the library and gives information to new students, Tika and Susi listen to him and take notes.
