Discussion

The mean DLQI score was 16.1 (range 5 to 28) before treatment and decreased to 3.3 after surgery. All question subscores and the mean DLQI score decreased significantly after the procedure (p <. 0.05) as shown in Figure 1.

A hematoma is one of the serious complications after local osmidrosis surgery, the main reasons being uncontrolled bleeding carefully and active movement of the arm in the early postoperative period. This can be attributed to the increased loads on the right side due to relatively more movement.

Successful Treatment of Facial Atrophic Acne Scars by Fractional Radiofrequency Microneedle in Vietnamese Patients

Introduction

Material and Methods

All subjects were treated with two consecutive passes of an FRM (INTRAcel TM, Jeisys Medical, Seoul, Korea) with minimal or no overlap.

Results

In conclusion, FRM treatment can be considered an effective treatment method for acne scars in patients, with the added benefit of minimal recovery time and effective improvement. This method can be considered a good solution for the treatment of atrophic acne scar in Asians with low post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Efficacy and Safety of Methotrexate in Combination with Mini Pulse Doses of Methylprednisolone in Severe Alopecia Areata

The Vietnamese Experience

Efficacy and safety of methotrexate in combination with minipulse doses of methylprednisolone in severe alopecia areata. So we want to assess the efficacy and safety of MTX in combination with mini pulse dose of methylprednisolone in the treatment of severe alopecia areata.

Materials and Methods

Treatment of severe alopecia areata remains very difficult, especially in alopecia areata totalis and alopecia areata universalis. Long-term follow-up of the efficacy of methotrexate alone or in combination with low-dose oral corticosteroids in the treatment of alopecia areata totalis or universalis.

Using Patch Testing to Improve Therapeutic Outcome in the Treatment of Hand Eczema in Vietnamese Patients

Use of patch testing to improve therapeutic outcome in the treatment of hand eczema in Vietnamese patients. The aim of this study was to identify causative allergens using a patch test with 28 standard allergens in consecutive patients.

Materials and methods

This figure is consistent with other studies reporting positive patch test results of between 15% and 62.3%. Relevant patch test reactions were seen in one third of the patients in our study.

Acknowledgement

The result of the patch test studies was helpful in guiding patient treatment and disease prevention. We propose to use a patch test to improve the therapeutic outcome in the treatment of recurrent or persistent hand eczema.

Efficacy of Oral Itraconazole in the Treatment of Seborrheic Dermatitis in Vietnamese Adults Patients

At all follow-up visits, the severity of SD was assessed using a scoring system that includes four parameters: . pruritus, burning sensation, erythema and desquamation - each of them is scored from 0 to 3, corresponding to absence or mild, moderate or severe manifestation [4]. However, the proportion of patients whose lesions resolved consistently increased at four and six weeks.

Discussions

We also recorded side effects of oral itraconazole, including rash, nausea, vomiting, constipation, headache, and dizziness. We recorded no side effects of oral itraconazole, and no previous studies reported any [5].

Statins, with simvastatin and atorvastatin being the most common drugs, form one type of compound that can reduce the amount of cholesterol in the blood. Many studies have shown that statins have anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties that will be useful in the treatment of psoriasis and other skin disorders.

Patients and methods

By analyzing the average concentration of each component in the lipid profiles, our study revealed a difference between the triglyceride levels of. Treatment of plaque psoriasis after 8 weeks with calcipotriol/betamethasone dipropionate steroid ointment showed a significant improvement in the PASI score.

Efficacy of Oral Low-Dose Isotretinoin in the Treatment of Acne Vulgaris in Vietnam

Therefore, it is not necessary to monitor homocysteine and folic acid levels during treatment with low-dose isotretinoin. However, the risk of increased plasma homocysteine and decreased serum folic acid levels should be considered when treating with a higher dose or long-term treatment.

Acknowledgements

Third, because there was no control group, the different effects of high-dose and low-dose isotretinoin on homocysteine and folic acid levels could not be described. In conclusion, we found that patients with moderate to severe acne treated with low-dose isotretinoin (< 0.5 mg/kg/day) had no change in blood homocysteine and folic acid levels, which may cause biologically unwanted effects.

Successful Treatment of Vitiligo Vietnamese Patients with Vitilinex® Herbal Bio-Actives in Combination with Phototherapy

Current vitiligo treatments aim to halt disease progression and achieve repigmentation of amelanotic areas, thereby reversing the loss of melanocytes in the lesions. Skin Prep lotion was applied to the affected areas and allowed to dry, followed by the application of emollient.

Successful Treatment of Freckles by Alex Trivantage Laser Wavelight 755 nm in Vietnamese Patients

The acquisition of freckle treatment has recently increased in Vietnam, and many medical institutions in our country have used various pigment lasers in the treatment of pigment disorders in the past few years. The aim of our study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Alex TriVantage laser in the treatment of freckles at the Hanoi Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology (HHDV).

Patients and Methods

Although freckles do not have a higher number of melanin-producing cells or melanocytes, instead of having melanocytes that overproduce melanin granules (melanosomes), freckles can change the color of the outer skin cells (keratinocytes). All patients showed improvement in the color of the lesion, with approximately 63.3% of patients showing a very good and good degree of improvement.

Author contributions

In this study, only 2 patients, or 6.7%, had post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation as a side effect. Our findings and the results of other investigations showed that the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation was temporary and resolved within one month, and there were no long-term complications.
