ABSTRACT
Thesis is a scientific paper that contains the results of observations from a study of several problems that occur by using the rules/rules and methods related to the field of science and is one of the supporting requirements for graduation to get a Bachelor's degree or Diploma four, students need a supervisor. Therefore, the results of this study are to recommend thesis supervisors effectively, so that with this system it is expected to minimize errors and mistakes that may occur in determining student thesis supervisors. The recommendations given are not based on personal knowledge, but consider the competence of the lecturer and also the interests/criteria of the students. The output of this research is the recommenda- tion of the thesis supervisor based on the competence of the lecturer and the topic of the student using the Naïve Bayes method.
