TRCAK A: MEDICAL, MEDICINE & HEALTH SCIENCES
Summary Human gene therapy is best known as the transfer of nucleic acids into the somatic or germ cells of an individual. Since then, thousands of people have participated in trials, so it is likely to be part of medical practice in the future. Despite the enormous benefits it promises, this new biomedical technology has raised several controversial issues from an ethical and religious perspective.
This study attempts to propose a complementary model of the Shariah framework on human gene therapy with special reference to somatic gene therapy. In order to achieve this, a detailed analysis and review of the Qur'anic evidence was carried out along with the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Following this, his position from the pragmatic approach of Mekasid al-Siariyyah (Objective of Sharia) and Kawaid Fikhijah (Islamic Legal Maxims) is also analyzed in more detail.
This model Sharia framework would serve as an ethical basis for the use of somatic gene therapy in Malaysia and beyond (especially in Muslim countries), especially for Muslim doctors, scientists and Muslims in general. For Muslim countries such as Malaysia, where Muslims form the majority of the population and Islam is the official religion in Article 3 of the Federal Constitution, this framework is considered an important reference in providing essential guidelines on the permissibility of this therapy. Considering the position of somatic gene therapy from a Shariah point of view is undoubtedly crucial in any attempt to regulate somatic gene therapy in any Muslim country in the future.

The Effect Of Solvency, Activity And Implementation Of Good Corporate Governance On Profitability
Abstract The income funds of State Universities of legal entities consist of the State Budget and the Non-State Budget which can be managed autonomously. Revenue funds coming from the Indonesian government budget are not yet fully autonomous in their use. Therefore, the focus of the discussion is aimed at the governance of Non-State Budget funds within these aspects of management: organizational structure, revenue sharing and reporting.
The research uses qualitative methods, namely a phenomenological approach and direct observation of the studied object. The findings of the study show that public funds are financed by the operations of the legal entities of the state universities themselves, and are used autonomously in the implementation of academic and non-academic activities, while still paying attention to the aspects of accountability, transparency, efficiency and effectiveness.
The Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance on Company’s Performance
Abstract Tax revenue, whose percentage reached over 80% of total government budget revenue in 2017, is the largest component of Indonesia's revenue. However, according to data from the General Directorate of Taxes in 2017, Indonesia's tax rate in 2017 was only 10.3%. To function optimally, this system definitely requires the development of a good tax administration system, such as the implementation of an e-filing system.
This study aims to analyze the effect of the e-filing information system on taxpayers' compliance, both directly and through the taxpayers' satisfaction variable on the services they receive. The results of the study showed that the optimal implementation of the e-filing information system has a positive effect on taxpayer compliance directly, as well as through taxpayers' satisfaction with the tax service they received.

Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of toy dolls that reflect the perfectionist female body on the self-perception of 5-6 year old girls. It is believed that these dolls, which have been preferred by girls in recent years, are inauspicious. affected by the development of children from several countries. 50 girls were enrolled in the study, including 25 experimental groups and 25 control groups in the independent nursery school in Konya. Children in the experimental group were allowed to play for 1 hour a day for eight weeks with babies that mirrored the body of the perfectionist female.
Children in the control group were not allowed to play with dolls that reflect the perfectionist female body. As a result of the research, there was no significant difference in the self-esteem sub-dimension between the experimental and control groups. There was a significant difference in the self-efficacy sub-dimension compared to the experimental group.
For eight weeks after the end of the study, the experimental group played with dolls that did not make the female body perfectionist with it. Abstract In recent years, the Australian tertiary education sector has embraced the gradual adaptation of the dual mode system to the delivery of courses in universities and higher degree education providers. In such systems, students have the opportunity, as well as the flexibility, to undertake the same course in a face-to-face and/or online environment. This paper presents a dual design evaluation of a first year business statistics course offered at Griffith University.
In this paper, we discuss the different aspects of the dual-mode design in the course, emphasizing the use of consistent teaching strategies for the face-to-face and online student cohorts. In addition, we present a comparative analysis of learning satisfaction and academic performance of the two cohorts within the dual-mode system. Using t-tests, nonparametric tests, and propensity score matching estimators, we provide new insights into dual-mode course design.
The discussions and analyzes presented in this paper are useful as feedback for further improvement of teaching strategies in the implementation of dual courses.
