Name: Puput Astika ( 02202201007 )

Kapusu Nosu is a typical food that is quite popular in Buton society, including South Buton. The main ingredient in this food is old corn. Technically, making Kapusu Nosu is not difficult because the basic ingredients are easy to obtain.

Ingredients for making kapusu nosu:

 300 ml water

 750 ml coconut milk

 1 kg old corn

 1 tbsp sugar

 1 tsp salt

How to make kapusu Nosu:

First, pound the old corn so that it is slightly crushed.

Next, boil the water until it boils.

Then add the old corn which has been pounded until cooked.

After that pour in coconut milk, add sugar and salt. Stir well, cook until the corn is soft and the sauce thickens.

Finally lift and serve.

At first glance, this culinary dish looks like corn porridge, but the distinctive taste of Kapusu Nosu gives a different sensation when you want to eat it, this is because the salty taste mixed with savory coconut milk gives a very distinctive and delicious taste. “Kapusu Nosu is delicious eaten with salted fish, kaholeo, or you can also eat it with dole fish. "And you really have to eat it with fish, because if you only eat this it will feel incomplete,"

Some people on the Buton Islands make this typical culinary specialty a part that is never absent, especially at big events such as festival celebrations, traditional ceremonies and traditional Butonese events.
