Central University of Punjab signed MoU with University of Worcester, UK, to promote new academic partnership
16th March 2020, Bathinda: Central University of Punjab Bathinda (CUPB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Worcester, United Kingdom to promote academic cooperation in between their “Schools of Education”. The objective of this MoU is to promote collaboration in areas of joint research, project proposals, faculty/student exchange programmes, and to share educational materials.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) took place on March 16th in CUPB City Campus, Bathinda. Prof R.K. Kohli, honourable Vice-Chancellor, CUPB presided over this ceremony. Prof Jaswinder K Dhillon, Professor of Education, University of Worcester, was the special guest of this event.
Prof S.K. Bawa, HoD, Dept. of Education, CUPB, introduced the representatives of the University of Worcester and shared the objective of this MoU with everyone. She mentioned that as a part of this MoU, the experts of both these universities will mentor each other in designing Course Curriculum with the objective to promote the internationalization of curricular in higher education.

Prof R.K. Kohli complimented Prof Jaswinder and Prof Bawa for their efforts. He mentioned that the vision of CUPB is to uplift and upgrade the standards of teaching, learning and research to the
global level of excellence. He added that this association is an important move along with other initiatives of University to realize our vision.
On this occasion, Prof P. Ramarao, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof V.K. Garg, Dean Student Welfare, Sh KPS Mundra, CUPB Registrar and faculty members of Dept. of Education were present.
