Latest trends in Research Methodology and Data Analysis (Humanities, Social Sciences & Sciences)
Today’s Global Economy calls for Multifaceted Researcher who must have more holistic view of their operations and able to spot out emerging opportunities. Thereby they will be capable of navigating into all Economic Environment. The purpose of the Workshop is to provide an opportunity for the individual with rich research aptitude and interests which in turn will promote the development of doctoral research in academic institution. It will be a forum for sharing research work and will provide a platform for new initiatives and partnerships. It will also provide an opportunity to the participants to interact with experts from Educational institution, Industry and research organization to get a direction for their research work or aspirations.
Objectives:
To provide a platform for research guide, full time scholars, part time teacher scholars & M.Phil scholars to present their research work and proposals.
To provide guidance on the best practices in research.
An opportunity for research aspirants to explore new avenues in research.
Provide an insight an opportunities and applications of research in the Industry.
To share knowledge on latest trends in Social sciences & Scientific research.
To equip the participants with Quantitative nuances in the research field.
Pedagogy:
“3” programmes will be conducted through interactive sessions, case analysis, group exercises and computer exercises to give exposure to data analysis on software packages – SPSS . It would help researches to grasp the nuances of data analysis.
Participants:
“3” programmes will benefit the knowledge workers belonging to academics, research guide (1) part time teacher researchers (2), full time Ph.D, M.Phil scholars(3) and others.
100 participants will be drawn for each programme on different dates.

1. Contemporary research issues (Humanities, Social Sciences & Sciences) for full time scholars leading to Ph.D &
M.Phil on 19.07.2012 to 20.07.2012,
2. Contemporary research issues (Humanities, Social Sciences & Sciences) for part time teacher scholars including FIP scholars for M.Phil & Ph.D on 26.07.2012 to 27.07.2012.
3. Dynamics of Research Methodology (Humanities, Social Sciences & Sciences) for research guides leading to M.Phil, Ph.D and PG projects on 09.08.2012 to 10.08.2012.
Deadline for confirmation of participation
For full time scholars leading to Ph.D - 10.07.2012.
For part time teacher scholars - 17.07.2012.
For research guides in Sciences & Social sciences - 01.08.2012.
Registration Fees: As per UGC norms Rs 500/ DD in favor of Finance officer Pondicherry University payable at puducherry (from Indian Bank / State of India)
Hospitality: All outside participants will be accommodated in the ASC guest house, with free of cost.
The ASC provide full hospitality for 2 days.
The ASC provide travelling allowance on shortest route second class sleeper to outside participants.
ASC provide course materials and course bags for all participants.
