Recent inspection Conducted by : The EE, RO, Nellore has furnished report on 02.04.2019 to Board Office, Vijayawada.
Bank Guarantee status : The facility has not submitted the Bank Guarantee of Rs. 2.0 Lakhs.
FACTS OF CASE:
1. M/s. Ongole Medical Waste Treatment Facility, Sy.No.316/1, Kanduluru (V), Tangutur (M), Prakasham District is operating Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility.
2. The Board has issued Consent for Operation and Hazardous Waste Authorization to the industry on 01.06.2017 which is valid upto 31.03.2022.
3. The Board has reviewed the status of pollution control measures taken by the industry before External Advisory Committee (Task Force) Meeting held on 18.05.2017 and issued certain directions to the industry on 08.06.2017 for non-compliance of consent conditions and BMW Rules, 2016.
4. The facility has not submitted compliance on the directions issued by the Board and continuing to operate the facility.
5. The RO, Nellore issued notice to the Facility on 21.07.2018 for non-compliance of consent conditions and Board directions.
6. The Board has reviewed the status of pollution control measures taken by the industry before External Advisory Committee (Task Force) Meeting held on 09.10.2018 and issued stop production order to M/s. Ongole Medical Waste Treatment Facility, Sy.No.316/1, Kandulur(V), Tangutur (M), Prakasam District on 22.10.2018 for non-compliance of the Board directions and BMW Rules 2016.
7. The industry vide letter dated 29.10.2018 informed that they had taken measures to comply with the Board directions and requested to issue revocation of Stop Production order
8. The officials of RO, Nellore inspected the industry on 04.10.2018 and observed that the facility has stopped the operation of the facility as per the directions of the Board. The EE, RO, Nellore has furnished inspection report to Board Office.
9. The Board has issued Revocation of Stop Production Order to the industry on 05.11.2018 with a direction to submit Bank guarantee of Rs 2.0 Lakhs within 15 days.
10. The facility has submitted the compliance report and requested for exemption of Bank Guarantee of 2.0 Lakhs vide letter dt.18.03.2019 & 13.04.2019.
11. The EE, RO, Nellore has furnished report to Board Office on 02.04.2019 along with the following compliance status:

In view of the above, the External Advisory Committee is requested to discuss the issue of exemption of BG in view of non-compliance of directions and recommend further course of action.
