Applications along with bio-data in prescribed format are invited for a position of Research Associate under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India sponsored research project “Quantitative assessment and mapping of the diversity of wild bees and honey bees of Northeast India” of the major project “Bioresource and Sustainable Livelihood in North East India”, under the guidance of the Dr. Hiren Gogoi, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Zoology, Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh, Mobile No-9957285547, Email: [email protected].
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. [Zoology/Entomology/Life Sciences (with specialization in Zoology)] with Ph.D. in relevant discipline. Expertise in bee morpho-taxonomy, molecular taxonomy and insect ecology preferred.
Monthly fellowship: As per guideline of DBT.
Upper age limit: The applicants should preferably be below the age of 40 years.
Remaining duration of the project: 1 year. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for attending interview.
