Stem borer  Before transplanting, follow seedling root treatment by dipping in chlorpyrifos 20 EC@ 2 ml/10 lit for 12 hours.

If blue-green leaves are observed, apply SSP or DAP along with 2/3 of urea to rejuvenate the plant from phosphorus deficiency. Orchards Multiple Phases  Prepare crescent terraces on fruit crops (orange/banana/apple/peach) grown on steep slopes to prevent nutrient loss during heavy rainfall.

Appropriate scientific cultural practices to be followed in all vegetables viz. cleaning, grounding, weeding, proper drainage, etc. Orchards All stages  Prepare half-moon terraces in orchards. orange/banana/apple/peach) grown on steep slopes to prevent loss of nutrients during heavy downpours.
