JAPANESE LANGUAGE JAPANESE LANGUAGE
Course Details Course Details
Japanese language course will be conducted to learn Japanese Language thoroughly from all aspects viz. reading, writing and speaking
The course is designed to enable students to prepare for 4 levels of Japanese language examinations namely Japanese language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
Each course will be conducted for approximately 6 to 7 months wherein Japanese script writing, reading, conversations, grammar, language structure will be extensively covered
The books and other material will come directly from Japan under the advice of a reputed Japanese language school in Tokyo namely “ Ichikawa Nihongo Gakuin” (ING). The teachers will work in coordination and will get benefit of a well known Japanese language teacher .
We are initially conducting classes for level 4 which is beginners' level. 24 lessons will be covered in a span of 6 to 7 months.
The course material will include textbook with 20 lessons, an audio cassette for each lesson as well as practice questions. Relevant material like vocabulary list, grammar explanation, question sets will be provided.

FRENCH AND GERMAN
VPM's (Thane) has been conducting courses in French and German since July 2008 and Japanese since November 2008. VPM has started beginners' course of 120 hours in French (thrice a week two hours a day) and Sunday batch of beginners' course of 60 hours (every Sunday 3 hours) and a beginners' course of 120 hours in German (thrice a week, two hours a day) and Now the next batches of French and Japanese are scheduled to commence from January 2009 and German from February2009.

Beginners' Course (120 hours) :
Course contents: Grammar, vocabulary and various speech acts. Writing Small texts like self introduction, about one’s family and friends, description of places, objects etc. The course material will include some topics related to French culture and society.
Intermediate Course (120 hours):
Course Contents:
Grammar, vocabulary and various speech acts in relation to French society i.e.
how to conduct oneself in French society in different situations. Writing small instruction brochures, hoardings, advertisements, resumes and compositions. This course gives the students a limited but effective command on the language.

Examination:
∗At the end of the course VPM (Thane) will conduct an examination and all the successful candidates will be awarded a certificate by VPM (Thane).
∗These courses will prepare the students for the DELF examinations conducted by Education ministry of France. After completing courses offered by VPM (Thane) the students can appear for the DELF examinations.

Beginners' Course (120 hours):

Intermediate Course (120 hours):
Course Contents: Grammar, vocabulary and various speech acts in relation to French society i. e. how to conduct oneself in French society in different situations.
