3 Description of technology Plant height: 75-80 cm (Indeterminate type) suitable for protected cultivation Fruit characteristics : Fruit medium sized, round, smooth attractive at maturity Quality attributes: Locules 4, TSS 5.9%, fleshy, good colour development, uniform ripening and suitable for processing.

Yield: 500-550 q/ha

Reaction to environmental stress:

Tolerance to low temperature.

Reaction to biotic stress: Tolerant to bacterial wilt

Others: Suitable for rainfed as well as irrigated conditions

Salient features of Tomato cultivars: Megha Tomato-3

1. Quality parameters

 Locules 4, TSS 5.9%, fleshy, good in colour development,

 Cultivar is uniform in ripening and suitable for processing.

 Thick in flesh with good self life 2. Site characterization:

 Based on multilocational trails cultivar can be grown in plain as well as hilly region of north eastern states

3. Varietal characteristics:
