Notes:
1) The candidates are informed to bring along with them the following documents at the time of counselling, failing which their name shall NOT be considered for admission:
a) CUKAT-2021 Admit Card and Scorecard.
b) Gate Scorecard (for GATE qualified candidates only)
c) All the marks sheets of qualifying degree exams (original & photocopy) d) Provisional and Character Certificates in original and self attested photocopies.
e) Original and Attested photocopy of Matriculation Certificate bearing D.O.B.
f) Category Certificate (if applicable) issued by competent authority in original and self-attested Photostat copies. Candidates are required to submit the latest certificates in the format prescribed by the Govt. of India.
g) Migration Certificate in original.
2) OBC category candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer and are required to submit the
certificate in the prescribed GOI format. There is no reservation for RBA, Social caste, NCC or
sports category candidates at CUK. Please note SC Category means Schedule Caste only and OBC
does not mean RBA category.
3) In case a candidate fails to attend the counselling on the stipulated date, he/she shall forfeit his/her right to be considered for the admission and the resultant vacant seat shall be offered to the next candidate in the order of merit.
4) Only those candidates shall be considered for counselling who have completed their qualifying degree by or before the date of counselling.
5) Candidates belonging to Ganderbal district who intend to apply for the supernumerary seat reserved for residents of District Ganderbal shall furnish Domicile certificate/ Permanent Residence Certificate in order to be considered for the seat. (if approved by Competent Authority).
6) Merely appearing for the counseling does not guarantee admission. Selection list will be published separately based on the merit and fulfillment of eligibility.
7) In view of the current situation of COVID-19, SOP’s should be followed:
i. Mandatory hand hygiene (sanitizer dispenser) and thermal screening at entrance.
ii. Only asymptomatic candidates shall be allowed entry.
iii. All candidates to be allowed entry only if using face cover/masks. The face cover/mask has to be worn at all times inside the office premises.
iv. COVID-19 appropriate behavior should be exhibited all the times while in the premises of the University including social distancing.
v. All other SOP’s, as directed by Central and State government should be strictly adhered to.
