PG Admission Entrance Test -2020, Department of Economics, AUS Entrance Test Programme & Guidelines for Candidates
1. The Entrance Test shall be conducted online as per programme details below.
(a) Date of Entrance Test : 12th Nov, 2020( Thurseday).
(b) Time of Entrance Test : 11 AM
(c) Duration of Entrance Test : 30 minutes
(d) e-platform for conducting the Test: Google Form. The link of Google Form shall be sent to the candidates at their email address 15 minutes before the commencement of the test. Candidates are advised to learn well before the date of entrance test all technicalities of Google Form to use it to write answers and submit it properly online.
(e) Total Marks for the Test: 25
(f) Pattern and Type of Questions for the test: 15 MCQ carrying 1 marks each ( 15 marks) + 3 short descriptive type questions carrying 5 marks each out of which candidate shall answer 2 questions ( 5+5= 10 marks).
(g) Candidates securing 40% or above marks in the written Entrance Test shall be shortlisted for admission to the course.
(h) There will be no Personal Interview (PI) of the shortlisted candidates this year.
2. All the Candidates appearing for the Written Test are compulsorily required to submit scan copies ( completely legible) of their class 10(High School), 10+2 ( Intermediate) and 10+2+3 (UG) Examination marksheets along with Caste Certificate/NCL(up to date)/EWS ( Up to date in prescribed format) certificate mentioning their Application Number to the HOD through email ( at [email protected]) on the day of Test failing which their candidature will be summarily rejected.
3. The applicants have given their e-mail address in their application form.
All entrance test related information and link for taking the test in Google Form has been sent to that email id of the candidates on 6th Nov, 2020. Hence, all candidates are directed to check their email every day and frequently to receive such information from department side.
4. The entrance test and the entire process of selection of candidates for admission shall be carried out by strictly adhering to Assam University Guidelines vide notification No. AUK-201/1/2020-21, dated 20.10,2020 and Prospectus 2020-2021 PG/UG/Integrated Courses
