Dr. G.SrInivasan, IIT Madras
Prof Sreenivasan obtained his Ph.D in Industrial Engineering and Management from IITb Madras.
He has 30 years of experience in teaching and research, and also guided 10 Ph.D students and 20 MS Students.. His research interests are in Cellular Manufacturing System, Flexible manufacturing system, Supply Chain management, and Service Operations management. He has 32 publications in refereed international journals including a Best paper Award in (1415 citations). Books authored by him include Operations Research – Principles and Applications, Prentice Hall of India (P) Ltd, New Delhi. Third Edition (ISBN – 978-81-203-5310-7); Quantitative Models in Operations and Supply Chain Management – Second Edition , PHI Learning (P) Ltd, New Delhi, (ISBN – 978 – 81-935938-6-8). He has carried out 10 Sponsored Research projects and 22 consulting assignments. Also Served as Management Representative ISO9000 (2001-2003).
