NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Sealed Tenders /Quotations are invited for supply of Diesel Generator on Hire basis AT ESTATE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT/ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE CENTRE, NIT TRICHY along with EMD @ 2% of total value in the form of DD/FDR/BG in favour of The Director ,NIT,Trichy. The detail of specification is given in Annexure-A.

The cost of tender document is

Rs.525 to be submitted through DD/Bankers

cheque/FDR in favour of The Director, NIT, Trichy .The last date for submission of Tender documents will be 24.06.2015 up to 3.00 PM and tender will be opened on the

same date at 3.30PM at Main office, NIT, Trichy.

The offers without Cost of Tender & Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) shall be outright rejected.

NIT Trichy reserves the right to extend the date, or cancel the tender, accept or reject any/all quotations or not to purchase all or any of the items.

Sealed Tender/Quotations are invited from Manufacturer, Authorized Dealer/Supplier for Supply of

Diesel Generator on Hire basis

AT ESTATE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT /

ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE CENTRE,NIT TRICHY as per the specifications in Annexure-A.

Essential Credential Criteria:

TERMS & CONDITION

1. The bidding agency should be reputed firm and having all necessary certificates, viz.VAT Registration certificate, PAN for Income Tax. The photocopies of all the certificates (including authorization certificate, if not an OEM) should be furnished. The Firm must have supplied similar items to Govt. Departments/PSU’s/order copy to be enclosed with the bidding document.

2. The rate quoted must be F.O.R National Institute of Technology, Trichy. Rate shall be inclusive of transportation /any other charges. Taxes shall be quoted extra.

3. The bidder must provide the specifications of the bidding items properly.

4. Supply installation, commissioning including necessary Accessories, cables, generator running hour’s meter and energy meter.

5. The supplier shall adhere rules and regulations of state/central Government.

6. It is responsibility of the supplier for any damage to materials or human.

7. The DG sets should be sound proof and water proof.

8. The tender should accompany, Earnest Money Deposit and Tender cost as detailed above through two different Demand Drafts payable at Trichy draw in favor of The Director, National Institute of Technology, Trichy-15. This earnest money will be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderer or rejection of the tender or at the expiry of two months from date of tender, whichever is earlier. The earnest money will be retained in the case of the successful tenderer and will not carry any interest.

9. The rate quoted must be in INR (Rs) and must be both in words and figures.

10. NIT,Trichy is exempted from paying service tax.

11. Cover Containing the tender/quotation must be superscribed as follows: “Tender no: Enq.No.11 NITT/EMD/EMC/AEE (E)/Dg hiring/15 Dated 12.06.2015 ”for supply of Diesel Generator on Hire basis at Estate Maintenance Department/Electrical NIT Trichy ”due on 24.06.2015”

addressed to The Director, NIT, Trichy-15. The sealed tender document should be sent/submitted to Dispatch Section, Administrative Building.

12. The institute reserves the right to reject or accept any or all tender without assigning any reason thereof or cancel, withdraw the tender notice or extend the date of submission.

13. Erection: The DG sets shall be erected on or before 30.06.2015.

14. Award of Contract: NIT Trichy will award the contract to the bidder whose quotation has been determined to be substantially responsive and who has offered lowest evaluated quoted price.

15. All legal disputes shall be under the jurisdiction of the Trichy Courts of Trichy District in the state of Tamilnadu.

16. On need basis the contract may be extended or reduced.
