July 29, 2020 Notice
The Department of Economics intends to appoint Guest Faculty against the vacant posts of Professors and Associate Professors for the semester August 1, 2020, onwards. The selected candidates will be expected to undertake teaching at the post-graduate level in the Department of Economics, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi.
Candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements as laid down by the UGC/University of Delhi; for details, please refer to the University website www.du.ac.in.
Eligible candidates will be invited to attend an online interview. The procedure for application and selection is as follows:
1. Send an email to [email protected] with attachments: (a) a filled out application form (Guest form.pdf), and (b) scans of supporting documents. The deadline for receipt of this email is 9 A.M. on August 5, 2020.
2. The application and submitted supporting documents (curriculum vitae and self-attested copies of certificates, graduation onwards) will be scrutinized to check the candidate’s eligibility.
3. Only eligible candidates will be notified by email to attend an online meeting at a specified time.
4. Selected candidates will be notified by email.
5. The original documents of selected candidates will be verified at the time of joining in order to ascertain authenticity. If they are not in order, the offer of Guest Faculty will stand rescinded.
Superannuated teachers may be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty subject to the maximum age limit of 70 years.
No TA/DA is permissible for attending the interview.
