control systems through Honeywell Automation India Ltd, the erstwhile Tata Honeywell, based in Pune. This is a listed company, employing about 1500 people, with estimated 2004 sales of US$
90 million. Honeywell Automation India also provides project engineering services to its customers worldwide.
• In Gurgaon, Honeywell has teams supporting the
Aerospace, Specialty Chemicals and Fire business groups. A newly established call centre supports the control systems group in the US
• Honeywell Technology Solutions Lab (HTSL) is a global engineering and technology centre of excellence providing technology, product and business solutions meeting global standards of quality, innovation and lifetime performance. HTSL has offices in Bangalore and Madurai in India and operates at SEI CMM Level 5 Maturity and PCMM Level 5 Maturity. Recently, HTSL has earned the recognition as one of the Top 10 Great Places to Work in India.
• Honeywell Turbo Technologies is setting up a new plant in Pune to manufacture state-of-the-art turbochargers for automobiles.

It is a SEI CMM Level 5 company and has filed more than 50 patents so far. It is among the top ten development centres of multinational companies in India. Honeywell also provides engineering and customisation support at Honeywell Automation India Ltd. in Pune for its process control solutions groups worldwide. The manufacturing facility in Pune is the first company in its space to have got a double certification for ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18001.
