The article shows the value of learning foreign language and its effectiveness in our life. Also, The modern teaching method is a learner-centred and activity-based teaching method which is used to get learners fully involved.

INTRODUCTION What is modern teaching method?

The modern teaching method is a learner-centred and activity-based teaching method which is used to get learners fully involved. This approach recognizes the learner as the primary reason for curriculum planning and teaching.

What are the active methods of teaching a foreign language?

Other examples of active learning techniques include role-playing, case studies, group projects, think-pair-share, peer teaching, debates, and short demonstrations followed by class discussion.

In our contemporary world, the importance of being multilingual has becomemoreessential than it ever has before. Multilingualism has become a crucial requirement inseveralfields and industries, fostering the growth of international relations, economic opportunity, andcultural exchange. Not only does learning a new language open up newavenues, but it alsoexpands the horizons of an individual's cultural understanding and personal growth. Inviewofthis, the practices employed in teaching foreign languages have undergone various innovationsand updates, yielding a wide range of modern methods aimed at enhancinglanguagecomprehension and fluency. In today's globalized world, the importance of foreignlanguageproficiency cannot be overstated. Learning a foreign language has become an essential toolforsuccess in both personal and professional settings. It is no longer enough to gain passingfluencyof a foreign language; learners must be able to communicate effectively in a global context. Thetraditional classroom methods of language learning that relied on rote memorizationandgrammar rules have become outdated and ineffective. Modern society demands that learnersengage with language in a way that is intuitive, functional, and interactive, using technologyanda range of communicative approaches to ensure that learners remain motivated andengagedintheir learning. Traditional language teaching practices have been insufficient toadequatelyequip individuals to master foreign languages. The traditional techniques employateacher-centered approach focused primarily on repetition of basic grammar rules and vocabulary. Thisapproach is often tedious and does not properly capture the full experience of language.

ImmersionnThe good news is that modern methods of teaching languages have beendevelopedto address the limitations of traditional methods and equip learners with a rangeof toolstoachieve appropriate proficiency levels in standard foreign languages of their choice. Thecurrentteaching techniques have been transformed to optimize the learning experiencetomatchcontemporary expectations, and it features a varied range of tools and resources suchaslanguagelabs, gamification, blended learning, online resources, virtual reality, and so on. This articlewillexplore modern methods in teaching foreign languages, understanding the advantagesanddisadvantages of the various methods, and examining how these methods can be leveragedtoimprove language learning and proficiency. Immersion Immersion is a modern technique in teaching foreign languages that provides learnerswithanopportunity to become immersed in the language in question. This technique mirrors hownativespeakers learn their language organically and naturally in their everyday interactions. Immersionoffers learners a chance to fully embrace the language and culture while inanauthenticenvironment. This method creates opportunities in real-life situations, such as classrooms,cultural events, or even via a living experience in a foreign country. The immersionmethodprovides the best avenue for self-study, as it helps learners to practice and receive feedbackfromnative speakers and push themselves out of their comfort zone. It is an excellent wayofimproving language proficiency in listening, speaking, and pronunciation. An important featureof the immersion method is that learners need to be patient with the process that comeswithimmersion as it might take a few

1212 months before learners become proficiently proficient inthelanguage. Gamification Gamification is a modern technique in teaching foreign languages that infuses the techniquesofgaming to make learning more engaging and compelling. The objective here is to makelearningthe language a game-like experience with clear objectives, rewards, and recognition.

CONCLUSION

Thismethod utilizes digital platforms that integrate multiple game elements, includingchallenges,rewards, feedback, and social interactions. Games designed to teach language provideanopportunity for learners to have fun while learning. The gamification technique canbeappliedindifferent learning environments, such as in classrooms, computer- based training, or evenmobiledevices- on-the-go. The gamification technique offers multisensory stimulationtoimprovememory retention, comprehension and promotes long-term knowledge retention. Additionally,classroom gamification enhances the learners' interpersonal skills through team-play, fosteringbetter relationships within the class and ensuring a more relaxed learning environment.
