Step delivery, 200 single window centers has been established at Block Level across the State and remaining 60 centers will be established during
current year
During 2017-18, 95000 hec fallow land has been converted into cropped
area
So far 1.15, 855 hec of Rice fallow land is being converted into double cropped area. During 2017-18, total
55855 hec have been covered

Sichayai Yojana Soil Health Card Scheme
Under BGREI- introduction of Paddy in 1.10 lakhs hec and wheat in 17094 hec.
Simultaneously 719 threshing floor, 25271 pumpsets, 177 rotavator, 181 Mini Rice Mill and 3632 sprayers have
been distributed on 50% subsidy
So Far 28028 Hec of land Micro Irrigation system has been implemented like Drip Irrigation systme, Mini Sprinkler System and Sprinkler irrigation system on subsidy
During 17-18, 1544 Hec has been covered
Since 2015,For Need based use of balanced fertilizer, under Soil Health Card Scheme 9.22 lakhs Soil health card
has been distributed to farmers against 3.79 lakhs soil samples. Target is cover
25 lakhs farmers in the state 3164Mrida Parikshak (Mini Lab) have
been distributed to Krshak mitra for door step soil testing

Since 2016-17,So far 637 seed village ( Beej Gram) in all 24 districts have been established for certified seed production . Total area under seed village is 10378 Hec
Total 4498 seed producing farmers have been registered
During 17-18 , 3 lakh quintals of certified Paddy Seed has been produced
3 days intensive- Kisaan mela sah Prakhand Krishi Jagriti Abhiyaan was organized in all 24 districts of
state to provide benefits of all scheme to the beneficiaries at their door step.
During this campaign, 11500 quintla of Kharif crop seed was distributed, 66000 soil samples collected, 32600 hec land covered under Medhbandi Scheme and 1.91 lakhs of soil health cards were distributed

A vegetable processing unit (Safal Plant of Mother dairy) has been established by NDDB
with assistance of Government Jharkhand at Nagari for realization of better price to farmer
Under OFAJ, since 2012 organic farming is being promoted in 13 Tribal Districts.
So far, on 26310 hec land organic farming and certification work is under progress
Against target of 5000 volunteer Baagwan Mitra, 5216 Baagwan mitra has been
selected and 3400 were trained

Vegetable seed production including hybrid vegetable seed production has increased by 142% during the last three years
Cashew nut production increased by 50% during the last three years
Organic farming and certification has taken paradigm shift and farmers are
realizing better price for their produce and Jharkhand is also trying to position itself for Organic farming state.
employment creation by adding volunteer- “Bagwan Mitra” for horticulture development, reaching to door step of farmers
Jharkhand has postioned itself for Vegetable states with surplus of 18 lakhs tons of vegetable annualy and catering to neighboring markets like- Kolkata, Patna,
Bhubneswar and even New Delhi for Brocoli, french beans & raw jack fruit.

helping farmers for better price
• So far, 3676 government ponds/Private rejuvenated
• During 2017-18, total 808 ponds rejuvenated
• In result, approx 36760 hec land brought under irrigation
Pond Renovation (Since 2012-13)
• So far 3160 group have been given small Agril implements and during 2017-18, 2368 group were covered.
Farm Mechanization for Women Self Help Group
(Since 2016-17)
• So far, 205 farmers producers group have given Agril Implement for custom hiring.
• During 2017-18, total 54 farmers producers group were covered.

• So far, 2111 percolation tank have been constructed and 1892 deep boring have completed
• As a result, on 6114 hec of land additional irrigation facilitates have been provided

• So far, 77444 Dobhas have been constructed
• Dobha construction is helping in irrigation of Rabi crop and raising of water table. ( Mainly for life saving irrigation)

• So far more than 15 lakhs farmers have been covered under crop insurance and target is to cover 25 lakhs farmers by this year end.

A 24X7 helpline for assisting famers for various types of farm related issues
Accelerated service at door delivery of farmers within 3 days
So far 29,438 calls have been received and approx. 20000 complains have been sorted out.
In record time of 6 months approx. 30 Lakhs farmers have been adhaar seeded for payment through DBT mode
•To achieve this, a massive DBT campaign was organized for continuous 10 days
•More than 100000 lakh farmers have been benefited through DBT mode
