Applications are invited from the eligible motivated candidates for the temporary posts of Research Associate and Research Assistants cum field investigators for ICSSR funded project no. 02/100/2022-23/ICSSR/RP/MJ/GEN.

[Candidates having a background in Indian Knowledge Systems, Management (Consumer Behaviour, Human Resource Management), Psychology, Sociology, or interdisciplinary background with a motivation of doing PhD from IIT Ropar in future will be preferred for fulltime positions)

Research Associate: 18 Months Research Assistant: 6 months Job

Description

For Research Associate:

Carry our various tasks in research that includes literature review, field study, interview/survey, report writing, publications

For Research Assistant:

Carry out field studies (interviews/surveys), documentation of data, preparing research reports and assisting the research associate.

Salary For Research Associate:

Upto Rs 20,000/ per month (consolidated) as per ICSSR norms;

For Research Assistant:

Upto Rs 16,000/ per month (consolidated) as per` ICSSR norms;

Essential Qualification and

Experience

Research Associate:

Post Graduate in Social Sciences discipline with minimum 55% marks with NET/SLET/M.Phil./PhD

Research Assistant:

Post Graduate in Social Sciences discipline with minimum 55% marks (Those having experience of fieldwork, taking interviews and conducting surveys will be preferred)

In case of large number of applications, a higher criterion, e.g. marks obtained in master’s degree or previous work experience etc., may be set for shortlisting of applications.
