Sub:- JNTUH – Establishment – Declaration of holidays to the Constituent Colleges/
Affiliated Colleges and its units to prevent the contain the spread of COVID- 19 Virus in the State of Telangana – Regarding.

The Government of Telangana have issued orders vide ref. read above and instructions to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19 Virus in the State of Telangana stating that all educational institutions including coaching centres shall be closed with immediate effect until 31.03.2020.
In view of the above, the Vice-Chancellor has issued the following orders to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19 Virus in the State of Telangana:
i. All the Principals of the Constituent/Affiliated Colleges and Directors of all Academic Units are requested to close their respective Units till 31st March, 2020. However, all the scheduled examinations which are notified already shall be conducted.
ii. All the Seminars/Conferences and any other large gatherings in the University Campus/ Constituent/ Affiliated Colleges are cancelled till 31st March 2020.
iii. Biometric System of recording of attendance of students, teachers and other staff members is to be discontinued until further orders.
