ABOUT US:
The JNTUH Innovation Foundation, a Technology Business Incubator (TBI) located in 2nd Floor of Admission block, JNTUH has been established at JNTUH, Hyderabad which is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India under DST-NIDHI scheme during 2018-19.
The primary motto of JNTUH Innovation Foundation (TBI) is to create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the students in the university, act as a major resource centre for the first generation entrepreneurs in IoT/ elite fields and groom potential candidates to generate/
convert their ideas into viable business/ incubation plans resulting in research/IP, innovation seeding, nurturing and growing a large number of Technology based start-up companies.
This incubator will facilitate incubate; provide intensive training programs and guide them to convert the idea into a feasible concept to develop through Mentoring, helping in technology commercialization and link with/provide Angel funding at early stage technology based start- ups, accelerating growth in industry clusters, business creation, promoting women entrepreneurship, identifying business opportunities and job creation.
TARGETS:
The focus is on creating a supportive and nourishing environment for Entrepreneurs.
To create a start-up culture among first generation entrepreneurs and facilitate at least 30 incubates with the state of art facilities.
The Thrust areas at the incubator are Internet of Things, Design and Manufacturing
TBI provides the necessary facilities to those start-up companies, along with guidance &
mentoring by faculty members of JNTUH & experts from industries to develop a robust ecosystem for entrepreneurship.
