The internal assessment marks, both theory and practical, obtained by the candidate must be sent to the university at least fifteen days before the commencement of the theory examination. The monitoring is done by the staff of the department based on the participation of students in various teaching/learning activities. Knowledge acquisition: The methods used consist of `Logbook' which records participation in various teaching/learning activities by the students.

The number of activities attended and the number in which presentations were made should be recorded. Journal Review Meeting (Journal Club): Ability to do literature research, in-depth study, presentation skills and use of audio-visual aids should be assessed. Seminars / Symposia: Topics should be assigned to the student well in advance to facilitate deep study.

The ability to search literature, in depth, presentation skills and use of audiovisual aids are assessed using a checklist (see Model Checklist-II, section IV) ii. This performance should be based on assessment by the department's faculty members as well as feedback from the undergraduate students (see Model Checklist III, Section IV). Work Diary/Journal- Each candidate maintains a work day log and records his/her participation in the training programs conducted by the department, such as diary reviews.

MONITORING LEARNING PROGRESS

Special mention may be made of presentations by the candidate, as well as details of experiments or laboratory procedures, if any, performed by the candidate. Records: Records, records and grades obtained in tests will be maintained by the Head of Department and made available to the University. The diary is a record of the candidate's significant activities during his training, Internal assessment should be based on the assessment of the diary.

Collectively, logs are a tool for evaluating the training program of the institution by external agencies. The record includes academic activities as well as the presentations and procedures performed by the candidate. Format for the logbook for the various activities is given in Tables 1 and 2 of Section IV.

The extent of the candidate's understanding of the scope and objectives of the paper Whether cross-references have been consulted Whether other relevant references have been consulted. Communicating the purpose of the lecture Arousing the audience's interest in the topic Introduction. Use of practical examples and/or illustrations Speaking style (pleasant, monotone, etc., specify) Summarizing the main points at the end.

Answer questions asked by the audience Rapport of speaker with his audience Effectiveness of the talk. Average score: Is the sum of all the scores from checklists 1 to 5 A, B, C : Name of the students. With the advancement in science and technology and the increasing needs of the patient, their families and community, there is a concern for the health of the community as a whole. It is therefore absolutely essential that everyone involved in healthcare delivery prepares themselves to deal with these problems. Standards of professional conduct for technicians are necessary in the public interest to ensure an efficient laboratory service.

Every technician should not only be willing to play his part in providing such service, but should also avoid any act or omission which would prejudice the delivery of the services or weaken the confidence in the respect of the technician as a body. Immune response: Clonal selection theory and related theories, primary and secondary response, humoral and cell-mediated response, antigen processing and presentation, role of accessory molecules, MHC structure and role in antigen presentation, MHC genes, maturational activation and differentiation of B cells and T cells , lymphocyte trafficking, TCR structure and generation of diversity, cytokine properties and function, cytokine receptor, therapeutic applications, ADCC, NK cell regulation of immune response, advances in vaccine development (eg, Haemophilus B conjugate, Pertussis, Cholera , malaria, hepatitis B, polio, HIV, antitumor) adjuvants.
