Calcutta, the 15th April 1935.
Recently a Sub-Inspector of Schools who was granted an interview in order to place certain matters regarding his service before the Director, brought with him a letter from a member of the Legis- lative Council.
Such action, by which an officer of Government endeavours to enlist the help of non-officials in presenting his difficulties, is a breach of service discip- line, and the fact that it is regarded as such is brought to the notice of all offi- cers of the Department.
