Seminar Report
Narula Institute Of Technology, Agarpara organized a one day seminar on “ AUTONOMY OF THE ENGINEERING INSTITUTIONS – IT’S SCOPE &
RESPONSIBILITY” on 19th December 2012 at the seminar hall. The seminar created a platform for exchanging thoughts and information towards the methodologies for transformation of an engineering college to an autonomous institution.
Prof.(Dr.) S. Dasgupta, Director of Technical Education, Govt. of West Bengal explained the importance of autonomy to create an awareness amongst our staff as to the emerging responsibilities. He had also mentioned about the roles and duties of our staff and faculties members to achieve & maintain the autonomy status of the college.
All the beneficiary stakeholders of the college i.e Deans, faculties, staff, students had participated the seminar for developing the status of Autonomy.
