A walk- in interview will be held on 5^th October (Wednesday) 2016 at 11:30 am at the HOD’s room in the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, Howrah, for the selection of one (01) temporary post, RA/SRF/JRF, CSIR sponsored project. Interested candidates are requested to be present with biodata and others academic testimonials (mark-sheets and certificates Xerox/original). The candidate should report their presence half an hour before the interview time.

Research Associate (RA) /Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/Junior Research Fellow (JRF):

No of post – One (01)

Essential Qualification:

RA: MSc. (Chemistry) / M.Tech. (Chemical / Materials / Energy) or equivalent of a recognized University securing 55% or equivalent marks and with Ph.D. in relevant subjects.

SRF: MSc. (Chemistry) / M.Tech. (Chemical / Materials / Energy) or equivalent of a recognized University securing 55% or equivalent marks and minimum 02 years R & D experience in the relevant field.

JRF: M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized University with UGC-CSIR NET qualifications.

Age limit: For RA 35 years, for SRF 32 years and for JRF 28 years. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/OBC, Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicants.

Fellowship*: 1. RA : Rs. 36,000/- p.m 2. SRF : Rs.28,000/- p.m

3. JRF : Rs.25,000/- p.m for 1^st two year Rs.28,000/- p.m after 2^nd years.

*Note: House Rent Allowance (30%) and Medical Allowance (300/-) will be provided as admissible and released by CSIR.

Duration: 36 Months.
