Pattern of question paper & the syllabi for the written test

1. Positions: Assistant

Total Marks: 100 Time: 2 hours

Part A: Multiple Choice Questions (75 carrying 01 marks each = 75 Marks) i. General Knowledge – 25 Marks

Current Affairs, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Indian History (Medieval & Modern), Basic Science.

ii. Reasoning Ability – 25 Marks iii. Numerical Ability – 15 Marks iv. General English – 10 Marks Part B: Descriptive Questions (25 Marks)

v. A passage on an event/situation/topic followed by 5 questions – 10 M vi. Essay writing (250 words) on contemporary issues of Education in

India, with 03 alternative choices – 15 Marks

Part I will be OMR based & the Part II shall be written on answer sheets.

2. Positions: LDC & MTS, Library Attendant etc

Total Marks: 100 Time: 2 hours Multiple Choice Questions (100 carrying 01 marks each = 100 Marks)

i. General Knowledge – 30 Marks

Current Affairs, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Indian History (Medieval & Modern), Basic Science.

ii. Reasoning Ability – 30 Marks iii. Numerical Ability – 20 Marks iv. General English – 20 Marks The Paper will be OMR based.
