CUCET ADMISSIONS 2016
Central University of Kashmir invites online Applications from the eligible candidates for admission to the below mentioned programmes for Academic Session 2016:-
I) Integrated B.A LLB/B.Com LLB (5 year course).
II) Post-Graduate Programmes:
1. M.Tech Information Technology 2. M.A English
3. M.A Urdu
4. Master of Tourism and Travel Management(MTTM) 5. M.A Convergent Journalism
6. M.A/MSc Mathematics 7. M.A Economics 8. M.A Education 9. M.A Political Science 10. LLM
11. M.Ed.
12. M.A Comparative Religion.
III) B.VOC Programmes:
1. B.VOC Programme in Retail and Logistic Management
2. B.VOC Programme in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
IV) Post-Graduate Diploma Programmes:
1. PG Diploma in Information Security and e-Governance 2. PG Diploma in Cyber forensic and e-Governance 3. PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling 4. PG Diploma in Translation.
V) Integrated BSc/MSc Programmes:
1. Integrated BSc/MSc Physics.
2. Integrated BSc/MSc Zoology.
3. Integrated BSc/MSc Biotechnology 4. Integrated BSc/MSc Mathematics.
VI) Integrated MPhil/Ph.D:
1. Integrated MPhil/Ph.D (Management Studies) 2. Integrated MPhil/Ph.D (Urdu)
3. Integrated MPhil/Ph.D (Tourism Management)
General Guidelines:-
1. Admission to the above programmes along with those offered by 09 other participating Central Universities, would be made on the basis of Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) to be conducted jointly by the Central Universities of Kashmir, Jammu, Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Haryana at various centres located across the country.
2. Candidates shall have to apply ONLINE through CUCET website www.cucet2016.co.in. OFFLINE application will NOT be accepted.
3. Candidates awaiting final result in qualifying examination can also apply.
4. The selection of candidates shall be strictly based on the merit scored in the Entrance Examination and other criteria prescribed for the purpose by the University.
5. Reservation of candidates shall be as per Central Govt. of India (GOI) norms.

Issue of Admit Cards 06th May, 2016
Exam Dates 21st and 22nd May, 2016
Answer Key upload 23rd May, 2016
Grievance, if any, upto 05.00 p.m. on 26th May, 2016
Corrected Answer Key ready 03rd June, 2016
Result Declaration. 17th June, 2016
Note: The University Vide notification No CUKmr/Acad/CUCET-16/396/16 dated 14.03.2016 had inadvertently indicated the admission for following five Research Degree programmes also through CUCET-2016, which stands withdrawn:
1. Integrated MPhil/Ph.D (English) 2. Integrated MPhil/Ph.D (Economics) 3. Integrated MPhil/Ph.D (Mathematics)
4. Integrated MPhil/Ph.D (Education) 5. Ph.D. in Law.
If any candidate has applied for the said Research Degree programmes and has submitted the requisite fee, they may approach Academic section of University for refund of fee.
