Curriculum vitae
Vivek Khanzode obtained his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, Diploma in Business Management from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and M Tech in Industrial Engineering and Management from IIT Kharagpur. He is a certified lead assessor for ISO 9000 quality management system certification.
He is working as a lecturer at KIT's College of Engineering, Kolhapur since 1997 where he teaches the courses of Operations Research, Costing and Cost Control, Quality Management, and Industrial Product Design at the undergraduate level, and Optimization Techniques and Design of Experiments and Research Methodology at the graduate level.
He worked with a small scale auto ancillary industry and a steel foundry from 1992 to 1997, and was responsible for online quality control, and implementation of statistical process control and ISO 9000 quality management systems. He was involved in providing quality management consulting services to nine small scale industries from 1996 to 2004.
In January 2007, he joined as research scholar in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at IIT Kharagpur.
