Background &

Objective

SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is a prominent business school in India and also a multi-disciplinary Deemed to be University with eight campuses in Mumbai, Shirpur

(Maharashtra), Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, Navi Mumbai and Dhule (Maharashtra) and Chandigarh.

NMIMS, Bengaluru started operations in Koramangala in November 2008 and launched a second campus in Bannerghatta in 2016. Between the two campuses there are five schools, namely, School of Business

Management, School of Commerce, School of Economics, School of Science and School of Law. The business school offers specialisations in finance, marketing, operations, human resources and analytics.

PGDBFS is a one year full time program consist of 78 credits spread across four quarters. Two rigorous internship projects with banks at the end of Quarter II & Quarter IV provide students with practical and application rigour.

Classes will be held six days a week (Monday to Saturday), with each classroom session of 90 minutes.

Participants will be placed in banks and NBFCs on successful course completion.

Eligibility Criteria

Fresh graduates with 55% & above in any discipline. Participants with 55% & above in graduation and having work experience of 1-2 years can also apply.

NMIMS, Bengaluru and CRISIL conduct an aptitude test, group discussion, and personal interview to short list participants for the programme.

NMIMS will facilitate placements and internships with various banks, NBFCs and financial institutions.

NMIMS, Bengaluru has a unique blend of faculty and academicians with qualifications and research credentials, as well as those with extensive industry experience. Diverse pedagogic techniques include interactive classes, case studies, projects, and simulation to promote critical thinking, learning by doing and enabling students to develop a holistic perspective.

CRISIL's in house industry experts have over 20 years of experience. Their expertise varies across industry research, credit, market and operational risk management, stressed assets management and large and mid- corporate lending to varied sectors. With an average training experience of nearly 5 years they have trained people across entry, mid and senior level. These industry experts track multiple sectors, drive thought leadership through sector outlook and have held strategic roles in debt and equity consulting assignments.

The programme fees are Rs.4,25,000 (Rupees four lakhs and twenty five thousand only) plus taxes as applicable.
