Globalization has completed about twenty five years. The time is now matured enough to deliberate on important issues of growth and redistribution . The above theme of the seminar occupies a key stage in global macro dynamics. It links both the objectives of growth and redistribution of income and wealth.
In recent years, the process of globalization has changed the scenario all over the world. Movements of
capital and labour have influenced the growth function. But simultaneously inequality has also to be
diagnosed and estimated. The seminar is likely to provide a common platform for interaction of views of
reputed policy makers, academicians, researchers and scholars to discuss related. It is expected that
participants may contribute their recent works and share with the numerous people attending the
conference. The deliberation may further improve their papers which can later on be published for
wider dissemination of knowledge and policy reforms.

Objectives of the Seminar
i. To deliberate upon theoretical social science perspectives of globalization, growth accounting and redistribution of income and wealth
ii. To describe the recent trends of global growth and changes in inequality in multi-disciplinary perspective such as socioeconomic and political
iii. To re-examine reduction in poverty and economic miseries during post globalization period across Asian countries
iv. To make future policy options for plugging drawbacks in governance
v. To forward future strategy for efficient sustainability of sectoral development and livelihood in Asia
General Guidelines for Paper Submission
Authors are encouraged to submit full, original and unpublished paper in English. Manuscripts within 3000 to 4000 in length are preferred. An abstract of about 100 words with three to five key words should also be submitted along with the paper. All manuscripts should be mailed in MS Word format.
The manuscript should be accompanied by author/s declaration stating that the paper is his/her original work and has not been sent for consideration for publications in any other journals or edited book or elsewhere.

Rules for Participation
Registration are mandatory for participation in the seminar. All the registered participants will be provided participation/presentation certificate. Participants are required to produce photocopy of prepayment details at the time of seminar for registration. Spot Registration through cash payment can also be done at the venue of the seminar but kit will be delivered on the basis of last time availability. Paper presenters will normally be given 12 to 15 minutes for presentation/discussion.
Membership of ASEDS
Association of the Socio-Economic Development Studies (ASEDS) aims at promoting teaching and research in Development studies and allied areas. The objective is sought to be achieved by organizing seminar and conferences, research courses, publishing books and research papers.
