PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

1. To develop broad and balanced knowledge with understanding of physical concepts, principles and theories of Physics and the ability to apply the acquired knowledge of Physics to specific real-life problems.

2. The graduates are expected to develop the confidence to appear for various competitive exams like banking, civil services etc. and succeed in obtaining employment appropriate to their interests in Government, PSU & Private sector at administrative level or in academics.

3. To emphasize the discipline of Physics to be the most important branch of science for pursuing the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary higher education/research.

4. Graduate will have ability to adopt, absorb and develop innovative and new technology in physical sciences and related areas through lifelong learning process.

5. Graduate will inculcate value system and work ethically in a multidisciplinary environment, to enhance the advancement in physics in general and contribute significantly through their critical thinking and scientific competence.
