UNDERGRADUATE
• Students from 3rd& final BDS are posted in the department.
• The Under Graduate program is comprised of demonstration and training programs for various nerve blocks, closed & open methods of extractions, common pre - prosthetic procedures such as alveoplasty, vestibuloplasty, use of various types of suture placements and its removal, Regular dentoalveolar surgeries also performed which includes abscess drainage, biopsy, FNAC, dental wiring on models for maxillofacial fractures and health care management of medically compromised patients.

POSTGRADUATES
The Post Graduate program is a well structured offering specialization in the area of oral and maxillofacial surgery either for academics or clinical practice. The department is divided in to post graduate and undergraduate clinical facilities. Post graduate clinic has a proper seating arrangement for each trainee, minor OT, changing room and sterilization area. A well structured seminar room for academic activity of department .The department has also provided specialty clinic for oncology, Implants, Hair Transplantation and Facial Rejuvenation.Thedepartment also provides best of Cross infection control measures so as to prevent any cross contamination
during Oral Surgical procedures. Department is also provided with a technologically advanced modulator OT which is equipped with Carl Zeiss operating microscope,along with other latest equipments. Also it is well supported by fully functionalICU and 20 bedded exclusive maxillofacial patients ward.

FELLOWSHIP
Recently a one year Fellowship Program was started in June 2019 in Head and Neck Oncology having two seats.
The aim is to provide the training foundation for those individuals dedicated to careers in head and neck surgical oncology through training in this areas of interdisciplinary management , complex head and neck oncologic surgery and research , this additional expertise emphasizes critical analysis of clinical problems and development of additional skills in the performance of techniques required for the practice of the subspecialty, including consultation skills and multidisciplinary treatment planning, with emphasis in basic and clinical research methodologies
