Equip students to study engineering subjects more effectively and critically using the theoretical and practical components of the syllabus. Chapter titled 'Toasted English' by R.K.Narayan from 'English: Language, Context and Culture' published by Orient BlackSwan, Hyderabad. Chapter titled 'Art and Literature' by Abdul Kalam from 'English: Language, Context and Culture' published by Orient BlackSwan, Hyderabad.

Chapter titled 'Go, Kiss the World' by Subroto Bagchi from "English: Language, Context and Culture" published by Orient BlackSwan, Hyderabad. Since the syllabus of English given in AICTE Model Curriculum-2018 for B.Tech First Year is open, it is required to prepare teaching/learning material together by the teachers in the form of handouts based on the prescribed textbook on the needs of the students in their respective colleges for effective teaching/learning in the class. Write a program to check whether the given input is numeric or lowercase character or uppercase character or a special character (use 'if-else-if' learning).

Write a function called remove_duplicates that takes a list and returns a new list containing only the unique elements from the original. If the given word is 'Apple', it should become 'A,p,p,l,e'. ii) Delete the given word at all places in a string? . iii) Write a function that takes a sentence as input parameter and replaces the first letter of each word with the corresponding uppercase letter and the rest of the letters in the word with corresponding lowercase letters, without using any built-in function? . Write a function called draw_rectangle that takes a canvas and a rectangle as arguments and draws a representation of the rectangle on the canvas.

Write a function called draw_point that takes a canvas and a point as arguments and draws a representation of the point on the canvas. Write a Python program to demonstrate the use of method resolution order (MRO) across multiple levels of inheritance. Write a GUI program to create a window wizard that has two text labels, two text boxes and two buttons as Submit and Reset.

Learn how to determine Planck's constant using the photoelectric effect and identify whether a material is n-type or p-type using the Hall experiment. Students should be trained to listen to the sounds of the language, to be able to recognize them and find the difference between different sounds, to be able to mark stress and to recognize and use the right intonation in sentences.

Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) Lab

Interactive Communication Skills (ICS) Lab

Identify the peripherals of a computer, components in a CPU and its functions. Draw the block diagram of the CPU along with the configuration of each peripheral and submit to your instructor

Every student should individually install MS windows on the personal computer. Lab instructor should verify the installation and follow it up with a Viva

Cyber Hygiene: Students would be exposed to the various threats on the internet and would be asked to configure their computer to be safe on the internet. They need to customize their browsers

Draw a block diagram of the CPU along with the configuration of each peripheral and submit it to your instructor. Features to be covered:- Design Fonts in Word, Initial in Word, Apply Text Effects, Apply Character Spacing, Borders and Colors, Font in Word, Initial in Word, Apply Text Effects, Apply Character Spacing, Borders and colors, inserting Header and Footer, using date and time options in LaTeX and Word. Excel Orientation: The mentor should communicate the importance of MS Office or equivalent (FOSS) Excel as a spreadsheet tool, detail the four tasks and functions that would be covered in each.

This course provides an introduction to gender studies, an interdisciplinary field that asks critical questions about the meaning of gender and sexuality in society. It draws on multiple disciplines—such as literature, history, economics, psychology, sociology, philosophy, political science, anthropology, and media studies—to examine cultural assumptions about sex, gender, and sexuality.

This course integrates analysis of current events through student presentations, with the goal of raising awareness of contemporary and historical experiences of women, and of the many ways in which gender and gender interact with race, class, caste, nationality, and other social identities. Students will be sensitized to basic dimensions of the biological, sociological, psychological and legal aspects of gender.
