Applications are invited through online portal (https://rnlkwc.ac.in) for admission to the following Post-Graduate subjects for the academic session 2023-2024. The students obtaining CGPA 7.5 and above for Arts subjects and CGPA 8.00 and above for Science subject can take direct admission to the Post –Graduate courses after successful filling up Application Form (e.g., filling up the personal details, academic details, uploading photo, relevant mark sheets and signature). The students scoring less than 7.5 CGPA in Arts subjects and scoring less than 8.00 CGPA in Science subjects may also apply. They will be considered for admission as per merit if seats are vacant.

(D) SELECTION AND ADMISSION PROCESS

The PG courses offered by the Institution are self-financed.
(ii) Application fees for PG Application Rs. 300/-
Applications are now being accepted for the upcoming academic year 2023-2024. We cordially invite all interested candidates to apply starting from June 27, 2023. The admission process will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage applicants to submit their applications promptly.
(ii) Direct Admission Criteria for M.A & M.Sc. Stream
1. For admission into the M.Sc. stream, students must have obtained a CGPA of 8 or higher in the relevant subject.
2. For admission into the M.A stream, students must have obtained a CGPA of 7.5 or higher in the relevant subject.
If any student does not meet the CGPA requirements for admission on a first-come, first-served basis, a merit list will be published based on the CGPA points obtained in the relevant subject. Students will be ranked according to their CGPA score, and admission dates will be extended based on the merit list.
(vi) As per order of the Govt. of West Bengal , 80% of total seats in each subject will be reserved for the students of Vidyasagar University& autonomous college(s) affiliated to Vidyasagar University and the rest 20% seats are open to all (including students of Vidyasagar University& autonomous college(s) affiliated to Vidyasagar Universit y)
(vii) Reservation policy will be considered as per Govt. order 906 Edn / Estt dated 18.09.1997. The category wise percentage (%) of reserved seat is as follows: SC-22%, ST- 6%, OBC-A-10%, OBC-B-7%. Fraction of 0.5% or more will be rounded to the next whole number.
(viii)5% of each category(Gen/SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B) will be reserved for differently- abled candidates. Merit list will be prepared on the percentage of disability. In case of non- availability of differently-abled candidate, the seat reserved for differently-abled candidates of the particular category will be converted to that Category only.

(G) The following documents have to be brought by the provisionally admitted candidates at the time of physical verification
(i) Print out of the online filled in application form to be submitted at the time of verification.
(ii) Self-attested photo copies of all the Mark sheets of Examinations passed (10th onwards), University Registration Certificate and a Passport Size coloured photograph affixed in the box provided in the Form.
(iii) Self-attested photo-copy of the Admit Card/ Certificate of H.S. or equivalent / Madhyamik as evidence of the date of birth.
(iv) Self-attested photo-copy of SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ differently-abled certificate (/s) issued by the appropriate authority.
(v) Self-attested photo-copies of the Certificate of Games & Sports/ Cultural Competition (International/National/ State in the last two years), for those applying under respective quota.
(vi) Migration Certificate (for other university candidates only) must be submitted within two months.

(i) Application form, if not properly filled in and accompanied with attested copies documents as stated above, is liable to be cancelled.
(ii) All admissions are provisional and the admitted candidates are required to produce all originals of uploaded certificates, Mark sheets and testimonials for physical verification.
Candidate or his/her authorized person is to be present at the time physical verification as and when notified.
(iii) The physical verification of testimonials & other documents for provisionally admitted students will be held in the concerned departments by the appropriate bodies when students will be asked to report for their offline classes in the Campus
(iv) If at any stage, it is found that a candidate has concealed, suppressed or distorte d any information/fact, in the application form, her admission to the College, if granted, shall stand cancelled.
(v) Admission will be cancelled if the original documents are not found in conformity with the declaration in the forms submitted online.
