Pre Bid Clarifications for Tender for Operation and Maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant

Sl No Query Clarification
1 Are MSME registered contractors exempt from EMD
EMD exemption will be given to MSME/ NSIC registered having the quantitative capacity to cover the tender value. Such bidders are required to submit a Bid securing Declaration on the letterhead as per the format provided in Addendum 1.
2 Security Deposit on what value? Security Deposit of 3% is to be provided on the contract value per annum quoted by the contractor.
3 Will the VDA revisions be considered?
Yes, VDA revisions as per the Central Govt. orders will be considered. Relevant amendments to the Work Order will be issued.
4 Is Leave Salary mandatory? Leave Salary up to a maximum of 6% may be quoted.
5 Bid Securing Declaration Bid securing declaration in the format provided in the enclosed Addendum 1 must be submitted by bidders claiming EMD exemption as MSME/ NSIC registered contractors.
6 Should we provide additional insurance to employees not covered under ESIC? Will it be reimbursed?
The contractors may quote for additional insurance as they deem fit and the same will be reimbursed as per the quote of the successful bidder.
● Please note that the pre-bid clarifications are part of the tender document. The same shall be sealed, signed and enclosed with the technical bid. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

Bid Securing Declaration (to be submitted on company's letter head)
I/We the undersigned hereby declare that if we withdraw or modify the bids during the period of its validity, or if we are awarded the contract and fail to sign the contract, or to submit a performance security before the deadline defined in the request for bid document or fail to execute the contract, we will be suspended for the period of time specified in the request for bids document from being eligible to submit bids for contracts with the entity that invited the bids.
